you welded it solid?you,ve obviously slammed the car too much, WDID ?
made a very limited slip diff

aye also WDIDT ? bought a boost gauge thats actually legible to the naked eyeyou welded it solid?
may be doing a 10k rpm CG10+T 1/4 miler paul, which wont be seeing many roundaboutsStrewth Frank how are you going to negotiate round roundabouts?
Time to get the tissues!may be doing a 10k rpm CG10+T 1/4 miler paul, which wont be seeing many roundabouts
may be doing a 10k rpm CG10+T 1/4 miler paul, which wont be seeing many roundabouts
frank how would you make it 10k?may be doing a 10k rpm CG10+T 1/4 miler paul, which wont be seeing many roundabouts
That is only a challenge!Strewth Frank how are you going to negotiate round roundabouts?
the 1.0 is a very short stroke eh chris, like a superbike engine, so 10k on a 1.0 is like 7.5k on a 1.3 in terms of piston speed, and these TD05,s are all top-end, as shown on my dyno printout, a straight diagonal line powercurvefrank how would you make it 10k?
second that. I suppose you would get alot of tyre shread? Is a welded diff no use for street/daily/track use then?
its ok on a rwd stani, but my oldschool mini welded diff was horrendous on tarmac lol, it had massive camber on the n/s/f (for oval racing) and would lurch all over the place on throttle and lift .Is a welded diff no use for street/daily/track use then?
I swear that link wasnt there beforeits ok on a rwd stani, but my oldschool mini welded diff was horrendous on tarmac lol, it had massive camber on the n/s/f (for oval racing) and would lurch all over the place on throttle and lift .
shaggy is well chuffed with his (quaife) torsen type diff eh, thats what i would go for personally

sneaked it in dude also WDIDT ? christened the new mani, 3" of clearance around the alt and rad now for megga accessibility and wired the wastegate shut now that i have an accurate boost gaugeI swear that link wasnt there before

the 1.0,s run out of puff at about 6k joe, to get them to pull at 9k+ you would need very wild cams or else forced inductionThats interesting... so if i de-limited my 1.0l i could run much higher revs with no problems? or would i end up with really dodgy afr's with everything else standard? (no turbo for me til i can afford then insurance hike)

Thats 1 litre rod or rods and pistons in a 1.3. I am guessing rodsthe 1.0 is a very short stroke eh chris, like a superbike engine, so 10k on a 1.0 is like 7.5k on a 1.3 in terms of piston speed, and these TD05,s are all top-end, as shown on my dyno printout, a straight diagonal line powercurve
stock 1.0 chrisThats 1 litre rod or rods and pistons in a 1.3. I am guessing rods
Would that be it
Just realised this.. ignore me and my stupidness! Frank, you know you are a gem. I need to ask a favour. will PMstock 1.0 chris

massive snatch, on and off the throttle mate, and mofo heavy steeringHorrendous as in what?
Thats where PAS defeats that issue eh?massive snatch, on and off the throttle mate, and mofo heavy steering
would help i guess chris but the reason it lurched was because we all ran mad camber on the n/sf only, like thisThats where PAS defeats that issue eh?
Thats bloody mad!would help i guess chris but the reason it lurched was because we all ran mad camber on the n/sf only, like this

Rods and pistons would pretty much make it a CG10 except cams I think xDThats 1 litre rod or rods and pistons in a 1.3. I am guessing rods

Consumables aint they guy i just stuffed some tissue under my super s ones, and they stopped leaking after a couple of yearsLeaky rear cylinders are bread and butter on k11s, least they were on mine (bit like rear bearings on k12s).
rather replace it tbh than i know its done for what they costConsumables aint they guy i just stuffed some tissue under my super s ones, and they stopped leaking after a couple of years

yes we,re gonna need those 12" ers to run 10k eh mattIs the welded diff to stop the n/s wheel spinning with low diameter tyres? I can't see any other reason for it?
What does bread and butter mean?Leaky rear cylinders are bread and butter on k11s, least they were on mine (bit like rear bearings on k12s).
frank definatley deserves it more than any greed garageWhat did I do... convinced Frank to fix in some buckets for me and harnesses... cause he is awesome and deserves my cash more than the idiot garage people.
