Well let's just hope it works ey. I want to be taken out in that beast. Let me have a sneakky go? You can have the same.Aye hopefully I'll resolve the pipe size issue... reduce the engine feed pipe again coz lathe and T in a bleed as frank suggested. Hopefully job solved
Worst case scenario put mech pump back on
Ta lad nearly there... Nearlllyyyyy. Of andy is not up for letting me borrow his cat I will rip the one off the daily. But its bigger :/ @ frank mine is a 51 plate 1 litre. Is it still fine to use?I'm just routing for yours now
Shhh u... You and ur previous owner ship of this car.... I have built it better faster , stronger....AND MORE BRUTAL TO THE ENVIROMENT.... BAMMMM

Lol actually out the curiosity of science we have figures to compare how well two compared to one works... SCIENCEEEEEEEEEYou have done sir
That makes little if any sense to me...Lol actually out the curiosity of science we have figures to compare how well two compared to one works... SCIENCEEEEEEEEE

Compare the results of 2 cats to results of one cat. That makes little if any sense to me...
Sounds like itTa lad nearly there... Nearlllyyyyy. Of andy is not up for letting me borrow his cat I will rip the one off the daily. But its bigger :/
Yea I've got my fingers crossed Hard to work like that but I need the luckWell let's just hope it works ey. I want to be taken out in that beast. Let me have a sneakky go? You can have the same.

GotchaCompare the results of 2 cats to results of one cat.
Makes perfect sense
I am thinking the second cat is damaged after the miss hap along time a go. But its working somewhat. Its no doubt not helping that its not been really thrashed down the motorway for an hour or so to really clear her out.oily turbo could've badly contaminated the primary cat, O2 and wideband so it doesn't work so well?
Good man well get on then we expect you at jaeI'll try find a link to a post I made prev bout how the neutral switch affects idle speed at various speeds.
Not now cos busy working myself to death for tomorrow's deadline before I then begin another long period of fixing the car.
planet spliff methinksR-reg.... what planet you from again?
Still at it Chris?
cat-swap prolly must,ve been a hyperactive child eh
I dread to think Frank to be honest
Haha yes still at it. Cat swap indeed. And no far from it.. I am just a stubburn bastard I will not be defeated lol. I was a slow child... still am dhurrrrrr. reggie man I be choppin it up. Get this **** down to show all the rude boys upboy a banger so he bangs it out in gang form
What worries me is that Chris understands every wordplanet spliff methinks
yes chris, else the cushdrive springs catch the f/w boltsGuys when. Putting the clutch in.. I am correct that the raised face on the clutch goes towards gearbox yeah. All this Joe and damaged clutches are panicking me

just noticed summin interesting bout the IAV
with the clutch engaged, whenever ur travelling above 5mph and in gear, the ecu keeps the IAV open so it idles at 1300rpm
if either ur speed drops below 5mph or you pop into neutral, then the IAV closes and idles back down to 700rpm
i'm guessing the iav opens the throttle abit in those situations in order to ensure the engine can run at idle rpm whilst overcoming the slight additional load of being in gear and driving the wheels such as during slow traffic jams. without the extra throttle opening via IAV the additional driving load under closed throttle would simply lower the rpm below 700rpm and more likely to stall
Hmm okay then. Just me worrying then. Will hook her up anyway tomorrow. As for what Paul mentioned below.my a/f/r gauge does,nt seem to respond differently to the disconnected speed sensor chris, i doubt if the neutral switch does either.
its probably more for idle control input tbh (and not emissions sensitive)
Sweet thank you Paul. Well I best hook her up I do like the high idle in traffic. I was wondering if it did it without load and may have kept idle up in gear but as its not attached it would assume its actually in gear. Possibly effecting emissions. Will hook her up anyway for the luxury lol.just found I mentioned bout the neutral switch & IACV on blog post 470 & 474

That is a bit odd. Clever idea. I should write these things out and ask Ed if they will effect my setup alsothe "high-idle in-gear whilst moving" feature requires the neutral switch and speed sensor connected to the ecu.
on my turbo map, the speed sensor causes the ecu to lean-out under 4-5th gear for some reason (low rev high speed triggering an odd effect in nistune)
so my speedo sensor is usually disconnected off
(got a switch on the wire nearby so I can turn on the speedo sensor during heavy traffic for the high idle in gear feature
and then once traffic has cleared, I switch the sensor off to ensure correct mixture during 4-5th gear)
its ed (fusion) who highlighted the speed sensor/closed looping effect chris, i think its there to stop fuel enrichment all the way up a long hill in 4th and 5th (which would kill the cat)That is a bit odd. Clever idea. I should write these things out and ask Ed if they will effect my setup also

Hopefully mateRestest then today?
