the 2nd (yellow) notch is tdc chris, i would set it there if you want to run low boostEurgh o don't like this. Now k have put so much work in to her I am getting really protective of how she is treated. Really worried she will die on the dyno.
Guys with the k11 cg13de engine. Starting from the front of the car. What are the notches on the timing wheel and where do I need to be setting it too? Should I just fully retard it?

the rearmost (far left) notch is 5 after chris, set it to 15 then eh (N/A)Is tdc the safest? Or the closest mark towards the front of the car? That's 5 degree after tdc?

I probably run more boost than that turbo will generate with wastegate open because of my ram effect...I want no boost. At all. I want her safe until I get to eds. When standing at the front of the car. Rotate towards you its retard. away from you advance ?

ahhh but the turb is there and it will explode and my work will be down the drain frannnkkkkkkkkit,ll pull like a 1.0 @ 5 after chris, 15 btdc is fine for N/A
it,ll only be coasting while the W/G is open mate, ed drove the car from manchester to brighton with just the rod disconnectedahhh but the turb is there and it will explode and my work will be down the drain frannnkkkkkkkk
datascan dude.. idiot prroof. I aint all clued up like you remember lolYou dont need to run the engine Chris. You're setting dynamic timing and the spark map
Simply the engine to TDC (the yellow mark)
Unplug cyl 1 ht lead at the dizzy
Mark where the dizzy plug is on the dizzy (I'll get you a pic?)
Then rotate your engine to the 10Btdc on your crank pulley
using the mark you made on the dizzy... loosen your dizzy and rotate it so the mark you made is level with the centre of your rotor arm
Tis simple enoughdatascan dude.. idiot prroof. I aint all clued up like you remember lol
6 to 700 is fine chrisI could only get her to about 670, Would that mean my timing is infact off?
Yay ta mate. I set it to 10btdc just to cover ones arse. Does mean I can put my foot down?6 to 700 is fine chris
compulsory mateYay ta mate. Does mean I can put my foot down?

Ged'err dun! I recon 1.5 degrees camber and 0.1 degrees toe out?And I need to align my front wheels

front wheel drive innitWhy toe out

Less high speed stability, improved turn in and cornering grip. Toe in gives the opposite and is better for motorway miles, according to the guy that set up mine. Why toe out

If you have worn bushes they toe in under load, and toe out slightly under braking.Isn't it .1 in
They open up at speed?
