This is my second micra. I had my first about 6 years ago it was a 1 litre but still fun and a great first car.
i had a few cars since then and recently decided (due to funding) to get a nice cheap small car.
after owning one and it was the only car to never cause any problems i started looking for a micra.
so after a week or two looking for a 1.0l i came across this beauty for only 650 euro and had to get it

Since i bought it ive done some minor mods like recovering the door cards

At the moment im working on smoothing in the little nismo kit that was on the car, should have taken pictures before i started.
Tryin to get as much done in the next 2 - 3 weeks as i can cause i just got paint to do a respray and goin for a nice smoothed out look

startedby making an open mouth grill

Started by cutting out the centre

Fibreglass paste and some plastic cutouts to bridge the gap

Then some filler,making sure to build it in layers to help prevent any cracks

Now for some rip off mesh

End Result
i think it looks fairly good

DIY Induction kit

I decided i wanted an induction kit on it so i set about making one from an old
filter i had, some gutter pipe and a can of chrome spray paint

For the Pcm hose i cut a small length off an old fishing rod and put it in a hole i drilled in the pipe

all put back together

Cheap but effective

Smoothing the boot lid
Had a few bad dents that needed to go so while i was at it i thought id get rid of the keyhole and badge

Cleaned it off and got it outside
A lot more work to do before its ready for paint

I do but its the first time i used them for anything other than painting wall or garden furniture.
i had my first gun which was really bad when i put the primer on so i went to halfords and got a new one
and when i was spraying the bumper the paint pot fell off!
so i ended up finding a descent one in a motor factors for 70 euro
