180 bhp at flywheel? with those modes I think you wil be lucky to get 130. How are you going to get to 180?

Even the ex-works P5NME with a spec as follows Engine
1275 CC CG1.3 type all alloy engine built by Adrian Miller Racing
Kit induction, 4 throttle bodies low and high RPM injection, 8 injector controlled with Pectal T6 engine management. Engine internal components by Peter Vaughan and Nismo, valves, rods and cam shafts to produce 160 BHP!
 
yes, but that engine was tuned for torque over power, with that spec and a higher rpm different cams 200bhp would be achievable at some 11,000rpm ish.

but again, your not gonna get 180bhp without spending some serious wonga..
 
all i can do is try lol if i can hit 150 at the fly ill be happy or stupid amounts of torque ill be happy

in progress of fitting cams took the head off to check the valves and shim the cams up. and goin to get a fuel pump for the carbs so they should be on tomorrow hopefully
 
oooh, if its half as quick as it was the other week this thing will be mental.

i mean acceleration from 50-70 (ish) in 5th gear was awesome. and reving to 8000+rpm with 1.0 cams in it.

cant imagine what a well sorted high compression carb'd 1300 with racin cams is like... and i cant wait to find out either..mmm
 
well all shall be show in a nice vid when its all run in. and if i get to get the fuel pump tomorrow all hell is going to break loose a full tank of fuel and nothing to do lol

Things like this ^^ make me mad. Why do they feel the need to damage people's property???

might sound silly, but i think this is an opportunity to remove it as it did kind of look a little silly... however functional..

you would be better off with bonnet lift at the rear and some cold feeds to your carbs..
 
yeh gonna be nxt month tho before i get it done off to scrappy for a bonnet tomoz so it will be good for donny
 
cams now in another bonnet fitted till i can get it sorted and by god does it fly so much tourque its unreal took it out on the test road and got an extra 20mph out of it i'm extremly pleased
 
well with 1.0 cams in it it was quite easily off the clock. (closed road)
so with performance cams in it this must be mental.
 
they dont. he just shoved them in for the gokart meet and it went like stink. 1.0 cams are actualy worse than the 1.3 cams.
shorter duration and lower lift. they are pathetic to be honest.
 
i went up a hill that is approx 1/4 to 1/2 a mile and was doing 95 before i had to slow down for the end. and on the motorway it just flys down was cruzing along put ma foot down and was up at 100 before i knew but cant take passed 120 due to tyres! restricting the speed gonna get it rolling road to see how much power before and after the carbs are fitted
 
sometimes i wish i had done exactly what you have done kept the exterior standard and modified the engine like you have
 
well i didnt want to attract too much attension and love sleepers lol ive got loads to do now in two weekends -fit carbs an pump, debadge an bumperstrip, fit in rear speakers, fit alloys, polish, fit upper strut brace too. all ready for donny
 
looking forward to the pictures ! n i wouldnt like to be sat beside you at the traffic lights lol knowing whats goin on under the bonnet
 
well theyve been sent off for refurb and will be done in black with a red sparkle tht only shows in sunlight will be brilliant
