Hello everyone!

1st I want to apologize my English. I hope it's good enough

I have followed many blogs in here and decided to make my own.

Some info:

Model year: 2000
Engine: 1.4
Driven: 63 000km When i bought it, now its 65 000km

So far installed:

New summer wheels and tires (Lenso BSX Gold 7x15 and Fortuna Sport F3000 185/45/15)
New winter tires for orginal steel rims (Sandblasted, powder painted to silver and installed Nokia hakkapeliitta 7 tires)
Tinted rear windows with 15% film.

In future:
Coil-overs, BC V1
Carbon taped dashboard, bumber parts and door handles
Speakers, subwoofer and stereo. Just need to install
Whiteline panhard rod
Banded steels 14"?
Alot more stuff!

Tried wheel to car. Too bad those wheel nuts were too high, so hub cover didnt fit :/
Need to change those for smaller ones.

Tinted rear windows look really nice

Wind deflectors arrived from Team Heko today
These were really cheap, 110€ for 3 cars. One shop here sold these also, but price was 70€ for 1 set..

Those are going to my parents cars. Opel/Vauxhall Astra G and Fiat stilo.

Already installed those to Astra, but its raining now. So ill take some pic later

Not going to put these to micra yet. Dont want to break or scratch those. there is alot work to do.

Back to Micra!

Took some pictures when I "soda blowed" rear. There is alot rust as you can see. Already have fixed some with grinder and wire brush

We put wheels back and then pushed it in garage.

Also found this at work, when I were going to throw some metal junk away. It doesnt look so bad at all, just little hole back there. (These cost like 80-150€)

I may put this to Micra or just restore and sell it.

Im interested about banded steel wheels. What would be best? 13", 14" or 15"? I don't want to remake arch's. So how wide wheels i can get?

How wide you can depends on the offset. 13, 14 or 15 is entirely up to you though bigger wheels tend to be closer to the arches.

Check my blog, 13x8.5J at the rear with a -30ish offset (yet to take an accurate measurement). I had to roll and flare my arches a LOT.

Also check out Jay101's blog, he has 8.5J at the rear but with less negative offset, he didn't have to flare his arches iirc.

no your right he didnt he does have some huge stretch on them so the tread is inside the arch

Bought it from "AVK, Autovahinkokeskus" Place where crashed cars go to sale, when insurance companies don't want to fix badly damaged vehicles.
Model year: 2001
Driven: 97 000 km
Price: 600€ with delivery.

Yes Car isn't rust protected and bought it at southern part of Finland. They salt roads alot at there :/

Looking good, remember to use some rust protection chemicals before hitting the road again ....i have some banded 13" steelies if interested .

Yea They use alot salt here at winter. So better make it perfectly protected

Abit more progress now Also installed left side shock. But it made really annoy noise, top bearing was broken And its new set..
Need to call importer tomorrow.

Drums and saddles had primepaint long time. Finally painted those.

Also checked ALB, put there new rubber O-rings and painted it.

Fuel pipes and tank are now on.
