the lights you have to keep fiddling with them to get them all working. and do you have a post like this one where you document your car
Postman probably used to get sick of me chasing him down so I could get started early
He'd park at the top of the street at 8:30am but wouldn't be down to my house until 11. I used to go walk the dog up there and rob him of my parcels as early as I could.
It's frustrating having to wait for deliveries and for decent weather, soon as I've got a day off coming up and it's a nice day I want nextday post and get it all done
No not really mate I only do the bits what need doing like, light adapter and track rod just to keep the car in better Shape under the shell really I do not have time for all this messing about and make the car look and sound good not just yet haha

ive seen em before on other micras, not my personal taste but they look alright. can you format that picture into a spoiler please as its massive and isnt part of my build log haha

Had a buddy of mine who knows what hes doing "help" (mostly do for me lol) sort my rev clocks out and get em all sorted properly, but the ****ing things dont work UGH
All wiring was correct as tested with multimeter and the readings shown as they should be, even wired my car up to his external rev counter and it worked fine. But my actual revclocks from an SR, dont work.
Anyone got any on the cheap? Blue or Black ones dont mind, dont care about mileage.

Finally put that airfilter on I bought a while ago, im fairly sure the bonnet touches it when closed but eh, it works. I do want to get a pipe tho that moves the filter to behind the battery, like the gizfab ones. My dads offered to make me one up when he gets back from France but im not holding my breath. Completely unexpected how much it changes the sound, normal driving its exactly the same, but if I floor it, a really loud deep bassy noise can be heard, I love it. Can sort of hear it on the dash cam but it sounds so much better in person. I know its rice, but I dont care.

Installed a breather line filter, just so stuff doesnt get in.

Got an almera airbox from micra_simon which I still have not installed on the car, its been pissing it down and I dont want the battery to get wet, nor do I have a battery cover to stop this. It was bright yellow, but I have painted it black. Its a bit rough, but I dont care, its good enough.

Met up with turb0tosh and bought a rev counter off him, and soldered the wire right there in the car park lol. Gave car a bit of hard driving lets say through some lanes, look down at the temp gauge and thought I'd cooked my car as it was above red, so sat at the side of the road for 30 mins 40 miles from home. I kept flicking the ignition on just to see where the temp was, saw it was back down to halfway which is normal, so started to drive home. About 10 mins later I look down, see its still half way, 20 secs look at it again and its above red, give it a whack and its back at half, so wasted 30 mins of my life for nothing ???
The rev counter works fine though, which is all that matters. I might change the speedo out at some point for the blue one, but I cant be bothered atm changing the mileage.
I did have a generic rev counter that you can get on ebay, also got it from micra_simon, but these are better, so thats gone.

Replaced the driver side door handle as someone at college broke it, he paid for it though. (Ill get a picture of the new one, and edit this post later)

Went to the Shadow Car Culture monthly meet, and met up with turb0tosh again.
Thats it pretty much, not done much else, I post alot more on instagram than I do here, so follow me @ benji.k11

I like the two-tone gauge clusters. Looks pretty neat. You're probably the only one with that setup.

its coming along nicely
finally lowered it and got some wheels
lowered on fk corsa b coilovers with 1 coil cut suzuki alto springs on the rear with the fk shocks, it scrapes quite alot
wheels are jbw rallye specials 13x7 et-7 with nankang as-1 165/60/r13 tyres
got an sr bumper which still isnt painted, altho ive only had it near a month
dashpod too, literally the best thing for daily driving
also got black rev clocks ans ep3 type r seats but i cant find a picture
got a sportex backbox with 2nd decat, although not pictured, sounds pretty banging
prob forgetting loads of other stuff but
i post so much more on my instagram @benji.k11

dun sum bits
painted the bumper
got march lights
had some welding done on the sills aswell since it failed the mot on them
got some more bits to do, want to respray the mirrors + spoiler, make a custom grille, and make some 50/50 lenses for the rear lights (in a perfectt world id get aspects but, its not a perfect world) will get round to all this at some point

The thing that anoys me most about me new Micra is that it has no holders anywhere. Can just about fit a regular sized can in the door pocket lol!

its a jdm dashpod, oem nissan part
you can occasionally find one for sale on ebay but believe me they aint cheap
best off asking in the facebook groups if anyone has one for sale
obv preface only as the dashboards are different
could just get a couple of these and be done with it, i used one for over a year and it was fine

drove over 400 miles yesterday to wales and back in my passat, to go buy a cg13 and a few other bits which im gonna put in at somepoint during june
thats about it really

I almost forgot about this post, been a long while.
Unfortunately my wonderful k11 is no more.
I had a frankenstein 1.4 swapped in. CGA3DE block with CG13DE head on 1L first face gearbox.
Did a track day with it, got crashed into on the way home which buckled the shell. That engine would overheat alot even with no thermostat and a civic ally rad. Kind of fell out of love and then just let it sit for a long time, driving it maybe once or twice a month. MOT ran out in November 2022 and I left it under a cover for a couple months. Shell was buckled in the rear, brakes where seized, coilovers were very ****, obv engine issue, and loads of dumb **** I did at 17/18 which did me over in the long run.
Decided to break it for parts and then sold the shell. Last I heard it went to someone who races in Autograss in Wales, which he then sold on. I have no idea where it is now.
I've since moved onto playing with volvos, although my girlfriend has a 96 k11 which Ive just recently resprayed. Perhaps I'll make another build log on here if I can be bothered.
I do really miss this car, wish I would of done things differently, but at 17 years old you just want what is cool without the care of it going wrong later on. Im 22 now!
