Not sure what you mean but for clean, precise, versatile welding, TIG is definitely the one to go for.

Ideal then :). I think a couple of people on here have made custom fuel rails.

It's all about practice practice practice!!!!been doing it for 20 years and I'm still learning!!!! Get some scrap and test with that first!!!

Tig takes a lot of practice.... and patience.

Im pretty sure u wont need to make fuel rail etc.... what about ga16 injectors??

Hmmmm im not really sure im sr20... my stock injectors are 260cc iirc for 150bhp.

I need to find out for sure now... I just assume that 260s would work. Dont know from what tho.

It's really easy to make if you have tig welder just make sure u cut once and weld it while it's in the inlet manifold so it's in line and it's done

I need my rail.... easy and cheap enough from scrapyard tho. If u need injectors when I change ill pass em your way. Wont be for 4-6 months realistically.

ohh I have been to many scrappy but seems they all gone or rusty, I will just look on eBay, am thinking to make mines in like 2 weeks soon as I do my turbo manifold

Rail and injectors dont rust... aluminium ftw.

Im confused..... just unbolt the fuel rail and injectors from a sr20 in the scrapyard...... heck it make me an extortionately huge offer and ill get/send you some.

I mean it looks very bad condition no bonnet meaning rain has been in injectors so defo want get it, hmm what offers will u want

Just get the ones from the scrappy.. They'll be fine... it a sealed system so its only cosmetic, nowt a wire brush wont fix. You should ideally get them flow tested to make sure they are working correctly.

To do aluminium you need an AC setting, you also need to grind the electrode to a spherical tip, and the weld pool os VERY hard to see. And if you move to slowly, the heat builds up in the weld pool too much and the weld pool falls to the floor and you're left with a lovely hole. LOTS of practice required.

Ohh great frank meaning I can practice with my tig welder unless u wana do it frank and I'll give u my tig and gas for u too do

I might have a plan I have 2 spare fuel rail off cg13 I can cut and tig weld them as a practice and also check what ampage is best to use and if it don't work simple it goes in bin, if it's ok I'll start my own tig on sr20 rail
