The 1.3 Turbo Battle####

Wtf just bloody looked at the Haynes I am missing a circlip which is supposed to keep the keyplate, push rod and plunger. @pollyp do you have these. Not the circlip for the spring holder and spring.

I have no idea that's the issue. I just found a washer which fits the diameter on the spindal. Which was in the brake tray from the rebuild... Pissssss.

Right I have looked at it all and I feel the spring holder and top circlip should do the job of the bottom c clip. Gunna just Wang it on and try again done it several times today and way. On more won't hurt ... Man I am getting good at this rear caliper assembly... If I put all the parts in. Took me about 2 days the first time lol

The washer holds below the spring returning the screw and making sure the score does not rotate when pushing the piston out by locking it to the key plate

...V5 hasn't turned up so I cannot bloody tax it. Gahhhrrrr fix it jen.

Do you still have the old v5c2?... (the little green bit you were given when you bought her...before getting a full V5 the first time)
if you do, you can use that to tax her...that's what I had to do with my K12 ;)
edit: at the Post Office...if they're not on strike...again

if not you'll just have to be patient...won't you? :p
doesn't usually take too long to turn up?...when did you send off for it?

chris this washer is what the coil spring pushes down on to retract the central shaft when the swingarm shaft is at "rest".
cos it wasn't there previously, the central shaft was simply allowed to extend one-way but couldn't retract back in cos the coil spring had nothing to push against so it did nothing.
with that washer back on, it should be able to retract back in.

and don't forget to align the 2 holes of that silver washer to the 2 notches in the end of the caliper bore cos that prevents the central shaft from spinning while it moves in/out.

Haha yeah I figured it out in the end ta Paul... The idiot finally got it over here pleb lol. Tried to do the suspense thing but you got in there lol. I have to admit with the correct tools and experience you can whip this apart in like 5 mins.

I assume Chris doesn't have it due to changing address...it may get sent to the wrong place if he did it online :(

The address got changed ages a go. I lost the original. Mot Wednesday. Then tax. I have the keeper bit I tore off the the v5 when I sent my v5 in to change the colour on a separate date.

...well you can use that bit for your tax disc when you front up at the Post office with your shiny new MOT and Insurance certificate. ;)

Date don't matter Chris :)
I taxed mine today... two different addresses on the v5 and insurance. V5 filled in for change of address dated 09/06/2013.
As long as all the car details match its ok :)
 
There is a 12v a Ground and a 0-5V output signal chris, not sure which one goes where on the maf plug though sorry. no markings on the maf its self? google images comes up with a few but nothing definative as far as i can see (i did find it on google before so thats where i would start if i were you)..

I forgot to replace the top two nuts on the intake Mani so she was loosing air on the way in did those up and now I have AFR 11-13 actually. Will that pass not :/
