Finished up new bypass valve which is operated by a 7psi actuator .....
Quick vid, opens better then this now
On supercharger outlet.....
Then this gets plumbed Into turbo
So now it's s/c > turbo
The bypass valve will regulate s/c pressure and also be a direct inlet for turbo, there's no clutch this time so the s/c will also vent to atmosphere thru this, to reduce drain if power from s/c
Today I managed to reposition the oil return on the sump and mount final bits of supercharger
Started it up......no belt slip !
Sounds badass!
Took it for a spin, but the fuel map is all over the place now so need to do a few hours with auto tune when the laptops plugged in.......if the mrs and baby lets me out that is lol
Only getting an hour or so a week to play now
How hard are sills to fix ?
I wanna swap my engine and gubbins over to a better shell, found one going for £200, good car, But about 10inch if sill is rusted, apart from that it's ok
Basically same as any welding but it depends how far it's gone on the inside as for how much time it'll take...i replaced the k11's on mine without any issues.
It was jus the sill that needs doing on it.
And 2 mins round the corner from my house.
Mines got a crumpled up arch,
A lot more work to fix mine than this other one.
Going through stuff on the laptop, the most my pedal opens the throttle is 80%.
How can I extend the travel of the pedal? Bend it, cut home in the floor?
Have you had someone press the throttle whilst looking at the butterfly?.... Might sound stupid but maybe the throttle is open 100% but not being registered
