i have been wanting todo mine for quite a while, but every time i went scrap yard and that was either once a week or even twice they never had any headlights.....its all i have been waiting on!!!
and as i got them yesterday, i thought id make a start!
have a look at "Kristians White turbo k11" or "hoodedreepers k11" for more tinted headlights! "squarepants" and "raceworxs" and "Niz" did facelift models aswell :glance: (other people have done it aswell but forgotton names, sorry)

Might do my facelift ones though and sell them on.. Not sure yet.

more bits arrived today but i couldnt have got them without the help of an awesome mate "James", so thankyou very much mate!!!!!

the rain in Cornwall has stopped the progress on the tinted headlights :down: , so next chance for those is friday!
im going to tidy up and clean the engine bay next aswell hopefully!

Just provisonaly fitted the march nipple wiring! i just wanted to see how it would go etc!
unscrewed the metal plate attached to the boot (where windscreen motor is) so i could get to the wiring and connector blocks!!
i fitted "uk" bulbs which are shown in the pics just to see if they would work etc!! got to find some smaller bulbs now to fit!
however, not sure whether to fit the march nipples or leave the boot as it is!! im still after the number plate holder before i do anything, but who knows???

i appreciate that mate!!
i've enjoyed owning her for just under a year and a half and in that time have transformed her to something quite unique (i think), which is what i had been planning since owning my first k11!!
it was thanks to "Mr Rob, Luke, perseverance and the MSC" that made her what she is today!! ive just loved modifing her to make her quite a respectable liitle car!
the other side of the coin was that my mates couldnt believe i purchased another micra, and kinda laughed, which got me thinking about making her awesome, but little did they know i was planning on making her, quicker and handle better, styled better and unique!!
ive also enjoyed just having ago at all sorts! fitting splitters and skirts, sparying, smoothing, using filler! new ideas! generally just having ago!!!

i hate people who buy a saxo and put rear lexus lights and alloys on it.....
But people like us who want to do something unique and take the time to do it ourselfs and make our cars stand out from the crowd...even if they do laugh...atleast we know who right....lol
thats why i would love to do something like arnold is doing to his k10....people will laugh....then he'll rev his engine....they will respect...

Joel (good luck with ur test by the way, ul be fine) and the wiper is easy!!!
take of the plastic cover at the bottom of the wiper blade!
undo the bolt!!
slowly, rotate and pull the wiper off.
take of the boot backing plate!
undo 3bolts
unclip motor from the wiring loom!
fit or mod the motor!
repeat in reverse order!!!
Curtis yeah i know, well my mates owns a 106, saxo and a clio! usuall stuff you see that are in every motorworls shop floor!! nothing that really stands out!
thats why i got into the micra, something new to make unique and stand out! plust hey are awsome little pocket rockets!! they are easy to work on! simple design but with lots of class imo! small little run around car or with some performance parts it turns into rally car!!! which gets peoples attention! as they cant beleive a grany car is quciker than ther VTR
i dont see that having hardly ANY aftermarket parts for a micra in a shop a bad thing, i mean, its good that u have to buy a saxo sdeskirt or fiesta etc!! its custom, its different. for me, making a car and designing it to my taste using unique bits is something fun! taking it to a garage, giving them £1000 etc to add body parts....then driving around.....not much fun!!! not sure id think its my car?

Headlights are lookin great! Im after tinting mine I did a mock in my blog but Im not sure which colour yet. Agree about pugs,clio's etc they are always modified and nothing uncommon but nobody expects a little micra lol.

headights....not sure on a colour for you!! i was tempted to do mine green....but i got those fog lights black so thought id stick with that colour!!!

yea well i was tempted by blue but if you look I did a mockup and i have a blue/white thing going on it looks rather cool so i might leave them... I aspire to a blue bug
