looks like mine so i would say it was real however if it was a fake and you were unfortunate to get a fake you can always claim money back through ebay/paypal if item was not as described (Y)

What a real 3g or 3gs, if it is a 3gs it was a bargain for £306, the box just is giving me doubts

well it states it is a 3G like mine cos the 3gs is nothing special for the money people are asking

also the seller has 157 positive feedback so 100% so is probably trustworthy

Its a fake, compare the visible screen to the one on the box. If its not a fake the screen is mashed.

eBay and paypal are very bias towards the buyer so you should have no issues in returning the phone.

Escalate it now as it is an out and out con. I just resolved my dispute as item finally arrived after 1 month. The ad says "Apple" and this is not.

why not take it to a quiet phone shop in the high street and ask their opinion. they probably sell enough of them to know the difference?
