3. Ford Escort 1.8 ghia x - began to modify it, part ex'd for the glanza

4. Toyota Starlet Glanza V 1.3 turbo - slightly modified - more to come!

me mums had shed loads of cars, rs turbos (modified alloys dumpvavle, lefr hand brake on whilst drving for about halfhour lol), mk2 escorts road going and rally spec ones (modified bucket seats caged up etc) loads of fords and stuff, shes also had cav gsi and a limited edition astra...then had a seicento sporting abarth (modified) now have the micra obv modified.
 
Ford escort: stolen, recovered and given to some bloke.
Ford fiesta: stolen, recovered by insurance company, spotted in somerset a few months later.
Nissan micra, has an alarm and immobilizer, will drive til it dies.

I think the worst one would have been a talbot solara, it was always breaking down, overheating and springing fluid leaks, it was eventually eaten alive by rust faster than I could remove and remedy it.

nissan sunny 1.4l kreg changed speakers and neon boot light. then spon, rolled, found tree and park in ditch on side in 3ft of freeze cold water on new years day.
nissan micra 1.0 k11 big bore 4, alloys, noddy horn and drilled air box (need somthing quicker)
nissan micra 1.3 k11 super s fair bit done to it.

got bored of last too sold them then the super got bitten bad by rust to leave me with the final car.

2001 k11 1.0 great car still got it, just in the middle of putting in a 1.3 from the above super s
1989 k10 1.2 moving up in the world! lovely little car, floor pan needs rewelding, some front end damage and sun roof pipes blocked/ broken so smells mouldy! lol Got big plans for it though!

7, my current micra 1.3 si owned for 3 yrs and still going strong

Just reading your list again japseye and spotted the marina 1.8tc, I had one of those as well, pretty fast for its day, but talk about understeer. I still wish I kept it though, it was fun.

After reading the above posts i'm quite embarassed to say that i've only ever owned 1 car, well it was and it wasn't as it only had 3 wheels....it was a Robin reliant....but it looked like a car and twas jolly good fun to boot!

At the present time we have a Micra 1.0L LS and a Mitsubishi FTO 2.0L V6

The top speed of all the vehicles is going to be obviously different but what surprised me was that the Reliant which had an 850cc engine could pull 87mph when the Micra with the 998cc can only get to 90mph...The Reliant weighs half the amount of the Micra but surely the micra should go more 'on the run'?

NB: Speed checks were done on an old ww2 airfield.

yep it had the most crap set up i have ever worked with and those trunnions how many times those got repaired...........like my list said some i forgot and reading posts jogged my memory a little forgot about the robin regal van owned it for a week and rolled it over at the first corner first time out i never drove it again. I know i daid cars you owned but i have had some bikes to....

Ford Escort mk3/B 1.1 bonus........ rusted to crap in my back garden, cost me £10.

Mint condition 1.3 peugeot 309 GL. absolutely mint too.. untill i hit some snow, and a large piece of concrete...

one day later, Peugeot 309 GTI 1.9. Lowered, Full magnex 4 branch stainless manifold and system, no cat (pre 1992) miami blue with tinted windows, Mi-16 bumpers and trim, blue carpets and roof lining, original roof wind deflector, puma sports chip, loved that car so much..... i realy do miss it and wish i still had it. but i lost the back end on some wet grass and rolled it into a field....... squashed it flat. and it had only done 62,000 miles genuine...

more to come like, 1600 injectors, 1600 throttle body, Fusion motorsports mapping and maybe eventualy some throttle bodies..lol

1. m reg k11 1.3 lx - hugely modified over 6 years, white, blue, yellow, 148db system, 17s, fastcar feature, got bored left it for 8 months rotting away, stripped then scrapped.

2. k reg mini cooper, brg, union jack roof, minilites, bought when k11 was in bodyshop for ages, didnt turn right, engine not coneected to bulkhead, sold for £25 more than i paid after 2 months lol.

3. ? reg k11 wide arch, was going to be fast road car, used engine for lauras baby blue k11, sold wide arch kit for 3x paid for car, scrapped shell.

4. r reg polo 16v, coilovers, R3WOJ (LOWER) private reg, debadged grille, sold after 3 weeks to a mate.

5. b reg mk1 astra gte redtop, needs full resto, should be fun...not.
 
forgot to mention i owned a lada riva ha ha ha ha ha our lass told me to go do one sold it after 4 hours as she said she would leave if it didnt go.........think i sold the wrong one....oops love her really

Never had luck with many other cars bar Nissan and VW... to me they are quite reliable and the mk3 Polos are built like tanks... always start no matter what... I brought the BMW with 110k miles on the clock and it did me to 190k miles then gave up.. I will never by Vauxhall or Ford again for sure... nor Citroen!

I will start first, these are in order. I passed my test in 2002. Only thing is i feel i have downgraded abit with the micra, although i like running it as a neo classic.
