It was. More people did stuff then rather than just talking about it all the time. People like Jo/John/Dave/James/Kev/Ben/Stuart and many other passed members were innovators and really left their mark in a good way.
 
Lol at Kev loitering around his K10 as the kid peers in thru the windows, I guess 03 must have been my first JAE or was it 04? ahh I can't remember.
 
Great videos. Out of interest, what is the song playing in the second one? I recognise it from one of the club scenes in Kevin and Perry, sounds like a dub mix?
 
why cant those times be these times again not being rude to anyone but some ppl need to pull there thum out there a*** and meet im willin to travil as far as my money will take me im goin bighton even though i cant aford it as many others are goin as well dont know wat there money finances are like but im cyclin to work all month thats 20 miles to work and back a day just so i can go . sorry 4 the rant had to get it off me chest

I think I caught the tail end of these days, joining in April 2004 (4 years here this month!)

JAE 2004 I think was my favourite JAE, maybe just because everything was all new! Definitely hoping Mersea Island recaptures the "close-knit" feeling JAE 2004 had!
 
Cracking videos! Really inspirational too - some marketing of the club is definitely needed. Especially since, as far as Google could tell me, this was the only Micra club on the Internet! Would a relaunch campaign be advisable? I mean, I do press releases for my choir, I'm sure it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to think of some stuff for MSC :grinning: Because it looks absolutely awesome in those videos!
 
04 was my first one too James, infact I crashed in your tent. Was a great event. Slim being a major highlight off the top of my head. Would have been nice to experience the previous ones but didn't know about the MSC or even have a car at that point!

It was owned by a guy called Stewart - forum name stupot.

To be honest the kit was never fitted properly at various stages, cut and shut, didn't line up too well, big air gaps between panels etc.

I only seem to have this one image of it, I think a member on here now owns it, posted up in the intro forum a while back. Might even be in the K11 pics thread.

Anyone got any vids etc... for JAE 04? howards bum crack on show running around after matt is permanently etched on my mind but I can't remember much else of the show...

Lol nice vids. Think I joined when I was 16, going on 17 so 2001, :eek: but first show was 2003 I think. Damn, that was a while ago!!! Good memories though, all of the shows were better then lol.
 
Lookin at your pics Arnold I'm sure I must have gone in 03 because I thought I went to billing twice and it was in peterboro from 05 so I must have gone in 03. 03 in the k10 and 04 in the carina!
