If I use spacers it will grind the brake pads, with no spacers on now it is just smooth with no grinds, I haven't bleeded it yetive got 1mm washers spacers from the carrier to caliper there to centre the disc no rubbing but im using almera vented discs not gtir (pulsar) so i think the 3 mm needs to come off the disc andy
It's not catching I looked in the inside of the steelies it's got about 10mm clearanceplenty meat there to grind off

This is tight wheel clearance
Force racing wheels? you certainly don't want to visit a gravel trap with those.
I'm fitting Micra brakes to a Mini hub, may even see if they'll squeeze under a 10" wheel.

I had to chop mine up with a angle grinder totally seized on.did my wish bones today thanks to @frank easy with pressure added and a bar, I don't use manual book think frank has learnt me lot

What siezed up ?I had to chop mine up with a angle grinder totally seized on.
Right the spacers on 1mm but if I got that on it will defo catch my rims, as they only 14inch but do u have to have the spacers inI don't have clearance issue cos using 6.5jx15 et40 alloys and i use 1mm washer between hub & carrier to center the carrier onto the discs
That is very tight and it's having no problems ?This is tight wheel clearance
It's very strange that you seem to be the only one the doesn't have spacing issues with those calipers. You do understand where the spacers go don't you? It's between the hub and carrier. Not the carrier and caliper.

So it was made for them rims ? They look great and guessing any power on them wouldn't matterNo, it was designed that way. The brief was to use a 280mm disc setup with a 13" wheel. Fine in everything circuit related but totally useless on a rally car or in a gravel trap
You don't have any pics of spot welds do? And how many bolts/spot welds are there?thats the same i fitted to mine last week make sure you get a good sharp 8mm drill bit to drill the spots out takes about 3 hrs all in to fit
Pics of what ?You don't have any pics of spot welds do? And how many bolts/spot welds are there?
Ahh sorry ok,I was replying the 12h @Azzydot about the cross member I've just bought

Mines was from bullseye sure they same. ?keep an eye on those ebay arms azzy cos they're prone to fracturing under frequent extreme braking with the GTIR brakes

Can tell they look well made with the setupWheels were made to fit the brakes, (caliper offset etc). No power/torque limit I'd have any issues with.
Which drive shafts ?I see someone has pinched your driveshaft, not sure how those drive flanges are held in the upright, but make sure its in the right place relative to the upright, perhaps it'll move a little with a CV joint in there?

If the ball joints was fitted maybe it would have lifted higher up, that's why it looks like that in pichuh ?
