The motors are transferable between lights, the actual unit itself is no different between non leveling and leveling
fab, cheers karl n chris
I had that once with frank lol. Its a very rare and glorious moment he he.I'm going to savour this moment, I knew something Paul didn't know
Engine and all that. Bleed the brakes when hoses arrive. Massive task of seats in.. Well most of the hard graft on that has been done I think. Andy reckons 5 more hours. Getting the loom back in and what not. AFR. Touch up the inside of shell paint. A few more bits somewhere in there. Not kidding. Look just like my old 100nx kit
What big jobs are left?

No just the seats and harnesses are 5 hoursSounds like its getting there
Aye Andy wont be far off in his estimations
Its all trivial after engines in then mate
That was me, but once theres some CO2 for it I'm determined to get chris doing some welding, just don't tell him, it'll be a surprise for wednesday!

Yes that stuffView attachment 24950 you mean this stuff I bought today ?
Well, maybe just the seats... harnesses shouldn't be too much hassle. Unless we have to make extra mounting plates...No just the seats and harnesses are 5 hours
If the front & rear belt mounting points aren't too dissimilar to the K10 then you'll find them a doddleWell, maybe just the seats... harnesses shouldn't be too much hassle. Unless we have to make extra mounting plates...

Felt rude posting my car on your blog :/
See @enuo we are going to have to sort another harness bolt on the tunnel. The k11 seat belt lock is on the seat rail.
Just about.. There is a heat shield anyway. Will find a way round it.. Well andy will lol. Serious props to the bloke. Would of got there in the end with a lot of mistakes if started by myself. Andy has streamlined it and is giving me a good chance of getting done for jae. He has taught me a lot of stuff too. I don't really come across many people who have experience. So I don't get to learn new techniquesTis like de javu or a bad echo
Simple nut and plate will cure it at least your exhaust is out the way... at least I think it is
Note I never give in... This blog shows it lol. Well u just don't care. That's why you not coming to help! I want to speak to you about some cage options BTW. Yeah he is teaching me well. Chop a section out the heat shield? What for?Easy.. chop a 50mm section out the heat shield
If your taught right.. you'll learn right I've every faith in the fact he's taught you right. Otherwise you go off, try, probably fail and get irritated and jack it in. At least I used to anyways.
Tis a shame I can't lend a hand. Maybe I'll make a special trip over one day
You WILL be at JAE
Ah I am with you now. I think there is a bit of space to work with. We shall see! Yes I suppose there are many miles. To make room for plates and nuts... unless you intend taking it off and replacing it afterwards
That's a very valid point. Well you are miles away arent you.
Sure feel free is this a before JAE cage idea or after?
Hmmm okay. Well if I drastically **** up and it makes more work for you ya cani get angry.Ok Chris, just mark out and drill the holes for 2 more plates. Or 3 and have a go at welding one up yourself?
Hold up. The rail feet yea. We have four already?I won't. Make 3 and weld one so if it's irreperable we can still do it
Ask and thou shall receiveI won't. Make 3 and weld one so if it's irreperable we can still do it
Will you marry me???Ask and thou shall receive View attachment 24951
Yeah why not. Will you marry me???
Why thank you. I love it when I get nice comments from the higher powers of car modders on here #girlymomentChris your really cracking on with this now I'm impressed
That welding mask is gonna help you no end too
That other picture... milk and tea bags... might just tempt me over
Also easy for you too. Tis a cheats way out to learning to weld but as long as you can wels it don't matter eh.Why thank you. I love it when I get nice comments from the higher powers of car modders on here #girlymoment
Yeah I figured it would. I was more focused on making sire the job is easy for andy. His help is invaluable so I need to make sure everything is sorted for him.
Well get ur ass over man
Mig ftw... you saw that comingJust tried tigging the nuts to the plates and can't get a thick enough weld, will have to mig it at yours...
If we had the collet to hold the bigger tungsten bita I could up the current and get a decent sized weld pool going, but with the tiny size we got the heat at the tip just burns the sharpness off and then I get massive arc wander. In this case, MIG FTW lol.Mig ftw... you saw that coming
Don't matter ayeJust tried tigging the nuts to the plates and can't get a thick enough weld, will have to mig it at yours...
