The 1.3 Turbo Battle####

Almost ;)
The middle bit is good. Edges I'm guessing you slowed the torch down? To make sure its weld and not grinder overlay (Grinders can hide little pinholes) just try and lightly cut into it with a thick grinding disc it'll reveal all
Gas flow is good no bubbling.
Amperage good it appears to have penetrated well
Wire speed seems good too :)

Will look like this soon (my custom gearbox mount)

Thank you very much mate. :) yeah it's a bit crazy actually. I didn't think we would be at this stage last year when we met. I was a but hopeless with cars when I met you lol. Yeah I remember being harassed when I started the blog after jae to get on lol. Yeah I hope so too.

Oh just got an email to say my brake lines are being made yay! BTW guys on the circular ends. Is there's supposed copper washers on one side or both. Like the bolt end or sitting between the fitting and the calliper?

clear repeaters

You check your seat rails... where's your hammer?
I battered them silly with no budge. I still don't know where the limit is on things with welding. I have no experience to gauge from if that makes sense. That's why I want someone to check. So when I do it next I know what the weld should be capable off. You get me? Lol I am not being a pussy out of being a pussy lol I am being a pussy out wanting it to be safe :D

And its safety first eh Chris. Seeking reassurance from experienced eyes aint a bad thing
Normal vht will be alright. :) though its probably cheaper to buy the wrap stuff and do that... looks better too

Get some pliers on them. If the plate starts to bend before the weld breaks you're good.

Too late. I painted vht. Spreads better I think. Black too.

Bam it also now has a polished lip yes boys.

fitted the wheel and boss and all that together to see if it fits. Yay it does. Someone ((mas) said that the cheap bosses eventually get wobbly. Eg you turn left and it takes a few more mm before it starts to turn. I think it is because the holes in the quick release are too large and eventually the bolts will loosen... My remedy washer and split washer to keep the Bugger in!

Wheels started. I cani afford to get my wheels refurbed yet. I will do that after jae. So I am bodging them. Rusty as hell they need to be dipped.

I figured 1: its rough as hell.. I can't imagine it not having something to grip to. 2: they need to be acid dipped and sprayed otherwise I don't think they will last long. Do you like my two colour system :D I used the spare paint with no use on the back of the wheels lol. And chosen colour in the outsides. :p it was either white or red lol

So that's where I go wrong. I wait 15 mins between each layer... primer or paint or lacquer
I do the same but force dry it with a hairdryer.
When you do the lacquer Chris 2 points:
1. Let the lacquer go tacky between coats, not fully dry
2. I find that I get a better shine if I force dry the lacquer with a hairdryer
