Bloody hell Neil, that is looking 'full on epic!' All that hard work is paying offWorking all day and working on car non stop since Saturday is killing me! So tired, but it's gotta be done.
Been working in engine bay sorting out fueling system with new swirl pot I made, and wiring up O2 sensor and gauge cluster pod better than before
my first reaction was....."PPPPPPPFFFffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff LOL" Sounded better in my headHaha true!
Could a metro turbo dizzy be made to work?
Or does anyone know how the renault 5 gtt advanced electronic ignition systems works?
Ha ha, didn't mean it like that mate, I meant the likelihood of people knowing the answer to your query!Haha, spose so, but it's for the micra so it countd
Looking sweet mate! keeping the wheels silver or coding anything?Working all day and working on car non stop since Saturday is killing me! So tired, but it's gotta be done.

Would that be 2 stages of vac advance for a dual vac dizzy or is it infact an advance/retard system?Cool !! Il have a proper read thru it later
Also been reading about dual vac dizzys, I think from early saabs
That could be the ideal thing then eh?I think it's both
Never thought about coilpack style ignition system?
Yeah, but I'd have to run mega jolt or something similar
Been looking at megajolt kits, buts its working out to be over £350!
Actually it may be worth further investigation because if you read the ad it does say that there are 3 versions available, including one for forced inductionI cant see it being that effective... if it works through the dizzy itself. Then its still limited by what the dizzy can mechanically do.
It cant control mechanical timing either only the vacuum. Just means you get earlier advance through vacuum.... good for high hp na setups but not our turbo projects. Still have to limit our dizzy mechanically somehow
I think I make sense :S
Cheap and simple is good but when have you ever done owt simple Neil?I like the idea of it thru the simplicity of it all, plus it's cheap
