Been to 5 scrappies, looked thru loads of micras and found 1 cg13, but wanted £200 for it!

Been tryin to buy some of eBay, but everyone seems to in a bad mood, got told to **** off coz I offered £20 less than it was advertised.

Really wanted this engine that's on a 99p start auctio, so contacted seller asking for a buy now, offered £80,said no and wants to let auction run, so I really wanna win it for 99p and laugh...so bided for it

Finishes Saturday, so fingers crossed

Got car back in workshop over the weekend.

Plans are:

-Win eBay auction and pick up engine
-Fit engine and weld mounts
-clean and paint engine bay a funky colour


Couple of questions, how does the steering colom come off the rack? Had a quick look and there's 1 bolt, is that it, or is there more to it?

I've got k11 hub/carrier things, how do I break the bottom ball joint to take k10 hub off? It's been on there nearly 30 years!

You can buy ball joint splitters from halfords can you take lots of pics of the conversion
Please mate specially mounts' any idea how the centre mounts will work? I'm looking to cg mine

i usually whack it on the side, where the taper is held neil, and the taper jumps out

The bolts should go thru the flywheel from the back pork

Anyway....

Mount off

Bolt engine to k10 box fir now

Engine in on original g/box mounts, so I can still use k10 drive shafts

Mark where new mount needs to go

Flipped over old mount, drilled new holes, cut a section out and hammered into shape

All I need to do is make some longer studs to fit k11 mount to engine and strengthen up new mount bit more

All out now, gunna spray engine bay in morning push car back home, then dismantle engine for rebuild

Bed now

Gotta be out the workshop by 7:00 am Monday!

Belly if it was me i woudnt bother with the front mount and the rear mount should simply bolt back in as the gearbox hasnt moved

As my understanding goes, k11 cg10 5 speed box is the sane, so using k10 jus to mock up till I buy new one

Looking great pork, painted bay , clean up engine , paint rocker cover and add in all turbo parts this is gonna be one mean mother f*cker !!!! Any idea's what power cg13 will work with all your turbo parts and bike carb? Will cg13 withstand much more boost ?
