Micra burned to the ground...

So i've a 2002 k11 micra and last Saturday I woke up to a guard knocking on doors asking people is this your burning car outside.

I'm just wondering what people think, after at least 6 hours of just sitting there would there be any way the micra could just spontaneously combust. It seems doubtful to me as I reckon a couple of gypsies just being assholes torched it.

The guards said they will let me know forensics report soon.

I remember something about Citroen C5's lighting themselves on fire some years back... something about water getting into the ABS control unit.. dunno if something similar is possible with the Micra's?

I've never come across a story of a self combusting K11!

I'd put my money on the lower class of society.

ya the guards just got back to me, fire started in back of car which was empty and the micra's have no electronics back there so I think thats pretty conclusive that the knackers did it.
