Hi,
Bought my Micra 1.2 SLX a year ago for my wife mainly beacuse of the cars excellent mileage, but the car is really fun to drive as well and not as cheesy and cheap looking as other older "minicars"
But ever since I bought the car it has been acting weird when driving at low speeds .. full throttle is usually no problem.
When driving 50Km/h in third gear and accelerating it feels as if the engine doesnt recieve any fuel, it feels really slow and sometimes stutters, but when hitting about 4000 RPM the engine runs normal again until I shift..
I was confident that the carb was the problem, so I ordered a used carb and replaced it today, but the problem remains, exactly as before.
Maybe the issue isnt fuel related as I am thinking?, could always start with replacing the fuel filter, but I am not sure where to locate it
I have changed oil and oil filter every 10000 Km.s and replaced the plugs and airfilter when I bought the car.
The ignition cables look fine at least, but maybe they are the problem anyway?
Greatful for any kind of tip or help.
Best regards.
