Broken Glovebox catch

I've now seen a second car where you have to hold the button to close the glovebox, otherwise if you just push on the door, the catch pushes the barrel out.

My facelift K11 has a different style glovebox with a big handle. Wondering if it might retrofit into a pre facelift K11. The dash is quite different, the top vents, & the warning & jeated rear screen buttons have all moved up a livel & there's a double height radio hole.

mine is broken too...

just got the car for 2 weeks.... and it broke the 2nd week....

im going to self serve wrecker to find one... i saw the pulsar latch is similar, might be able to modify to fit...
