Hi,

My name is Alex, and my car is a 1990 Nissan Micra K10 with the MA12S engine.
I am from germany, and it's my first time I am registered in a formum with a different language so please, dont kill my because of my aweful english ;-)

I am curiousif there are any differences between the Micras in germany and britain and I hope to find some cool guys who have freaky Ideas to customize an Nissan K10. Prehaps we could share carparts, ideas, etc...^^

My car I do believe is a k10?! (that is a guess cos i dnt know much bout cars but it matches all the other k10 pic's on here so must be!) K reg black 1.0S. ( Up for sale or part ex if anyone interested)

Also own 2 renault 19 cabbys and subaru impreza.

Music taste is everything because I work at badlands record store so has to be as we sell loads (mostly rock though).

It is nice seeing lots of different Micra's as we don't see many around by us anymore so glad I found the site.

But altogether I've owned just about everything! From a 1 litre Metro to an M3 Evo and everything in between. An Impreza, transits, K10s, loads of Minis, an XR2 you name it! I tried figuring it out about a year or so ago, got to 30 and lost interest!

It is a 1989 Nissan PAO with aproxamately 85Kilo on it.....I am looking for any info. Would Love to get my Hands on a Workshop Manual....? The Owner is Wanting to Do a Re-seal to the Engine, it also needs a clutch Kit. it has the Nissan MA10S engine in it, which I gather is the same engine the Micra has in it...? Can I assume that anything from a 89 Micra Will interchange...?

Any and all info, links, or sites are greatly apreciated in advance......

Hi John! Welcome! I'm writing a novel based in Oregon :)
Yes the engine is the same as the K10 model Micra - the boxy little one. Basically it's a remodelled body shell on one of those! Theoretically, yes anything running gear and engine wise should interchange, however my experiece is with the K11, so it might be worth asking in the K10 forum - someone more knowlegeable will be along to help shortly lol

At the moment me and my mates are planning putting a turbo in my wee micra as they said they are going to make her a pocket rocket so things for that are going to start going underway soon in the next few months when i get my new car so if any one has any ideas or any useful tips that would be much appricated.

I'm 35
Hobbies - Mainly cars but I also play a bit with pretty woodwork
Work - Computer engineer (server support in the defense industry).
Cars - Lots. Daily drive is a V40 as it's sensible, reliable, and all that sort of thing. I've got a GTM Coupe (sort of spiritual ancestor of the Lotus Elise but Mini mechanicals rather than Rover Metro). In build there is also a Ford RS200 replica (dimensionally accurate replica retaining a 4x4 system and getting a BOA Cosworth V6).

I'm here for info on CG13 engines and their ECU's as I'm planning to yoink one out of a Micra and put it in the GTM as it cries out for a better engine and box combo but I'm not looking to do as many changes as it would take to fit a Vauxhall XE or Honda V-Tec (although there's one in the club which has a V-Tec with nitrous that can blitz pretty much anything in the supercar bracket down a 1/4 mile strip).
