Well I neverIts off a nissan sunny n14 1.4... the ga14 engine... which I forgot existed... and never knew it was dual vac. Until I saw it which instantly sold it to me

So more goodies to play with.
Some male and female brake unions and new 3/16s brake pipe. Good old ptfe to keep those unions sealed. Some standard flexi pipe to replace mine aging ones. Once my new banjo fittings arrive
All good getting go faster parts... time for some stop faster parts
Plus 2 tins of my favourite paints. Vht aluminium and fluorescent green
Finally a mystery package
Bit of an update coming later on with a few more pictures

Been a pretty productive. Although I had no interest in what I was doing at all abd if it wasn't obvious I got it into my head "I couldn't do it" so I took a break. Collected my thoughts and had at it
My list of things today included. New braided fuel hose
Strip and paint shockers
Boot springs
Finish extinguisher plumbing
Started new brake line inside
Mudflaps
And probably something else ive forgotten.

First up braided fuel hose which arrived this morning
If you just cut it as it is you end up with this
This is how I was supplied it which is pretty poor
Anyway... this is how its done. Work out what length you want and wrap some pvc insulation tape around it. Making sure the the centre of the tape is your mark
Then cut down the middle
Leaves you with a proper finish to the hose.
My pipes looked like this
And finished up like this. They look super tight but there not

Update 2/3: Next up mudflaps, shocks, my washer bottle and boot springs .
First mudflaps. Nice and easy except there are regulations for mine. 40mm poking out from the tyre edge and no more than 80mm from the floor. Believe me when I say lining these up is no fun
Use the orignal mudflap mounts and then pop rivet it to keep it extra secure
Next boot springs. Nice and easy
Part 1 drill and pop rivet
Part 2 line spring up make hole 10mm from bottom. Drill and mount. Have to add the 10mm or there's no tension on the spring
Next up my shocks
Sand, prep, prime and paint
Not forgetting the top mount
Then bolt it all up
Before anyone asks... yes the little 1 litre brakes are back... being as I'm paint things I bet you can't guess where my gtir brakes and hubs are
Finally my washer bottle
Simply relocated on my navs footrest
Extra pipe to fill it with and the washer jet pipes still attach to the jets on the bonnet no trouble

The fire extinguishers and my tow strap then I think I've covered everything for now
First the simple tow strap
How its bolted
Next up the fire extinguisher plumbing
The piping bends like pipe cleaners so its fairly easy to mold. Just need to get some p-clips and secure it properly
Needed a nozzle bracket so I made one out of aluminium
Attached it the firewall
Then plumbed it up
So that was my day... so far... I'm not done yet. Update 4 to come later on
