Wout's K11-B11 hybrid project

Hi there!

Haven't posted on these forums for 14 years... šŸ˜¶

Yesterday i took this CG13DE drivetrain from my brother's '97 K11 which goes to the scrapper.




The plan is to drop this CG13 engine in my '84 B11 Sunny, replacing the old E-series engine.




They both use the same "30A" series gearbox which, to me, looks like a great starting point for mounting this engine in place.
I'm planning to go the turbo route which is the main reason i ended up on this forum again. Hope to gather some help, information and advice.

Just a question but why not use a ga16?
I guess this just came on my path.
This engine was for free, and i could rip everyting i might need right out of the crappy old K11.
I also have a good TF035 turbo from my Forester XT on the shelf, which would work perfect with the Gizfab manifold.
The GA is also a goed bit heavier than the CG. And now the car can still be a 1300cc like it's always been.
