You havent seen the ST then
200bhp from a 0.9L Supercharged+Turbocharged car
With more to come I understand... hehe
Don't see why the engine size makes that much difference. If it's a strong engine (like the ST) and has mod's available, then why not! If everyone started out with 2ltr engines it would probably get boring. But obviously we respect your personal view!

S racing, I don't agree actually!
You listed a bunch of cars that make around 100-120bhp/litre stock. The ST is around 200bhp/litre. Soon it should be more.
A turbo most certainly is a replacement for displacement on a smaller engine and with that gives efficiencies a large engine would not be capable of!
im sorry but you cant tune your st to a better standard than a 2.0ltr lump can be tuned to
little bandits proved that and its standard internals are good for 500bhp ,whats the st rated at?
you choose any 1.0ltr and ill choose any 2.0ltr and 1k to spend and we wil see who wins?
and the st is not 200bhp per lite as stock
Lets sort this mess out immediately, and talk specific output. Not my car has more cc's than yours as that really doesn't put any context on things and makes the subject entirely irrelevant.im sorry but you cant tune your st to a better standard than a 2.0ltr lump can be tuned to
turbo isnt the replacement for displacement!
nice cars though, but the small engine puts me off tuning one
S-Racing, little bandit doesn't run standard internals. You could say the same about 2.0Litre turbo's, there's no point in tuning one, you may aswell start with a 3.5litre V6 or 3.0Litre Twin Turbo. The argument is endless and pointless.
but thats when weight comes into it and COG. this is why most american muscle cars only go one way (forward)
Well I don't care what engine size I have, I'm delighted with the performance and is fast enough for me. I will never get bored of the turbo coming on boost and for a car weighing in under 1kg, a 1.3 turbo is just right when comparing power to weight ratio's.
Kev
I have actually ordered a wheel nut gun as this will come in very handy for future work.
