Which coil-spring compressors?

I'm a little spoilt for choice here so I'd really appreciate some advice from those that have used these compressors (Frank ) as to which you think is most suitable for K11 front struts.

Any of them will do the job. The ones 5th down from the top, (£5), are exactly the same as the ones I got from Halfords many years back and are fine for the job........you don't need anything poncey to do the job tbh.

Frank probably uses the old trick of undoing the strut and then using the car's weight to uncompress the spring

I've used ratchet straps before, if you want I've got some compressors somewhere that you can have for free. Eiter collect or cover postage

I like the look of these. I also have another car with coil-overs on with 2.25" springs which are very tight for getting some of the bigger cast ones into, plus I'm sure Frank has something very similar?

yes 1275, those are mine (they,ve served me well :grinning

Ive got some cheapy ones and work ok but they do catch the strut very slightly and have once popped off (they twisted while tightening)...something that gets your attention very quickly. So make sure you watch yourself no matter which type you buy.
