AND WHAT KARL! :p

WDID?
Fixed it!
No more damn shorting lights with no brakes at night an sidelights flashing in t'day!
Took long enough I swear :D
Then I took out that redundant metal screen next to the radiator, took out the QG injectors replaced with my original ones, removed induction kit, Put GA16 box back on with the induction piping for a cold air feed, hooked it in the gap where the screen used to be, and funnily enough runs so much better than it did yesterday!
I am officially a happy chappie :D

Cars running good now, the emanage is doing its job again. :D

Once setup properly (the tricky bit), it does look like you can remove the IAV without to many problems...theres a little hassle first thing but once the cars warmed up it looking like it couldnt care less.

Still need to alter the fuel maps scale as its apparent the bigger maf isnt going to get maxed out any time soon (obviously) so when normal driving the mafs reading lower than the current map allows making it too rich at cruise and leanish on boost. Easy enough tweaks though.

Your running emanage? Any trouble with mapping the cg?

Yeah emanage blue, had a bit of bother at the start (stock ecu lambda control doesnt like being told what to do -- cant really blame it for doing its job properly haha.)...but i've gotten around that now (probably not the correct way but it works). Apart from that only other thing was electrical interference (still on going some times at split seconds).

what was the problem with the lights?

to be honest im still not too sure, but i brought another new set of lights to see if changing them one by one and trying it did anything, and, once the driver-side brake and indicator had been changed the problem just vanished, nothing wrong with the bulb holder, earth or fuses etc but a new bulb in each slot did the trick, so I've now got a full set minus a brake and indicator sitting in the boot for the next time i get in the car at 2am to find i've got a bulb out :p

Drove to college and back :), dont suppose anyone. Knows roughly how much i would be looking to pay for a second hand 4-2-1 straight through to back box?

did say it would be a bulb :D

got a 1st box back exhaust off a k11c, looks like it may be the same length as a k11 one with the cat attached, so im going to replace the center box on the k11c one with a length of pipe, cut open the rear box and gut it a bit, see if i can get it to sound like the PLR one i had for a tenth the price :D

cheaper than a decat pipe aint they hoopdub :)

Heat shielded the intake coldside pipes as after i said they were staying cool, they went and got hot mainly as they pass over the engine / exhaust manifold. :D

Just using the same foil backed fibreglass weave stuff i've used before as it seemed to do the trick last time.

piggybacked a 2nd coolant sensor to the white car too, it was still coldstart enriching for 1 mile, homeward bound at dinnertime in this weather (no wonder these cars flood so easy)

ahh right in the bay does the trick to. is more to do with having the second sensor connected, any place cool ?

Its under the dash in the red car zed, i dont think the position is important, just the extra resistance to kick it out of coldstart enrichment and into closed loop quicker :)

is this a comon fault frank?
Dunno if it affects the facelift ones mate, but nissan used to sell a patch loom with a resistor in it to alleviate the problem.
With it fitted to the red car it was closed looping within half a mile, even in winter, but this white car was,nt closed looping till the temp gauge has started to rise (2 miles, ish)

no bother cheers :)

Looks like you had some fun.... are those corsa shocks on the back? Look like the ones ive got waiting... if they are then did you have to work on them much to get them to fit? cheers.
Yes they are corsa shocks, just have to grind the sides of the bushes to make them fit in its mounting. Oh and replace bolts with m8's :)

Is it much to grind off? the stock ones have quite a gap so did you match that or just go for a close fit? Do the m8's not shift in the housing then? (sorry for all the quizzing im planing on fitting mine next week)

Managed to resolve the tensioner issue...Lost it yesterday going down the road....the bolt anyway... Made one hell of a bang, more worrying as you see it bouncing along the road in the rear mirror.

let me fill some 1 year+old event in with pics :), yeh hold up you guys mess up on the panard bush and dont do it right:)
you aint just mad enough to pull it off ,,,,in one piece,,i know someone who is though.:) and this is what you get.
