Wired a rev counter under the engine bay quickly and still no signal from the dizzy..... Blue wire(that goes into green/white) refuses.
Looks like I'll have to go down the ECU route or sod the rev counter.
Few more small things ordered to get the final pieces together also!

Ebay one I used to have in my road car. No signal to standards clocks eitherwhat tacho jordan ? you might need a signal amplifier/driver

Yeah one preface one first facelift. Rev counter was fitted in the old rally car working.and both cars are pre-coilpack ?
you often have to fit a link wire near the ecu on pre-facelifts eh, did you also wire the power leads when testing it in the engine bay ?Yeah one preface one first facelift. Rev counter was fitted in the old rally car working.

I wired the clocks to the dizzy rather than the ECU. That's the next alternative.you often have to fit a link wire near the ecu on pre-facelifts eh, did you also wire the power leads when testing it in the engine bay ?
I can't get the dizzy method to work! I have done in the past with a rev limiter and rev counter but Maiko the rally beast is refusingI could never get the ECU method to work
Ha, ha, ha, HAH here's me standing by my new micra, bought her this afternoon. Better than I thought, power hood, power and folding mirrors, multi stack cd player, leccy windows, air-con (with a soft top !!!) and a few others I will find later no doubt.
Also wax oiled, she's perfect underneath, cross-member like the day it was made, taxed and tested 6 months, central locking, 60k only, and ready to roll when it all comes through. Took me about 6 months to track her down and buy her.
She's an R plate when the new number comes through (whatever year that is ?)
Got my new stereo in and a couple of other touches,
Also changed back to orange repeaters the other day, expecting alot of shiny things over the week/weekend!
Oh yes!Nice choice of air freshener! Hands down the best ones!
I'd be up for it with a non -micra? Possibly plus 1 with a mate as we've already done cadwell and oulton.Doing a heck load of coursework revolving around suspension set up, with help from a certain suspension Guru on here, and have decided my cars cack.
Will be booking a test day after the engine swap is done, if anyone is interested it'll probably be at Blyton and will cheaper with more people

Any ideas when your looking huggy?
Ah right, to be honest I would still be interested with the driver tuition. I assume that's like what they offer in small blocks on the track days? Not really any setup work to do but I would come for the day out with the club and lend a hand either hahaIt's not going to be a track day, I'll be hiring the circuit from the owner in the condition that cars are either having set up work done or for driver tuition. I can get it cheaper that way
If that's what your after then by all means you're welcome to come

Don't forget to send me the date dudeThe driver tuition isn't organised by them either, I'm simply hiring a track for the purpose of 'testing or tuition' for insurance purposes.
I'll ping of some emails soon and see what we can do though, he might be flexible
Only drove home with some slight detours.Suppose ur going out again jordan
Hehe giggle....... Such a child.....Woke up to a few inches.....

Made this as part of an injector cleaning rig, which i hope to finish this weekend.
Also Suze collected our front suspension, which has been serviced, repaired and upgraded by Spax

Got a few more inches and got stuck in deep lastnight... Went up and down the mountain(only the gritter had been over there not spreading). Snow tyres were working fantastic but they don't work when the car is in a snow banking!
Got my mate to pull me out in his jeep and carried on driving around the mountain.. 5 Suzuki Vitaras and 1 Nissan Micra haha

Not even a damn flake of snow here. I wake everyday in the hope to see a winter wonderland.
