what did you do to your micra today ?

just got all my spares packed away after a brilliant day rallying the old micra yesterday at blyton park.
was a epic day, some nice drifts due to slippy conditions and even a nice battle with a Subaru impreza and a Peugeot maxi !!!
managed to finish the 1400cc class with a lead of over 3mins, beating a wide variety of quicker cars in my class - Peugeot 106's, protons, novas ect in my 1275 micra :D

You still in the same championship as Jacob watts? Silver micra?

How are you placed overall now? Still doing well I guess

Not sure what colour wheels i prefer:
White ones on the car or the blue?

@Clodo

^^ That splitter must be huuugee

I'm on a 30mm drop and my rather large splitter doesn't catch on anything except the largest of speed bumbs or I end up driving off a kerb :p

Ooooo I like your splitter :p

I haven't measured it :L but yes it is rather big :) x

Nope... If I'm being really tight £3.79 haha:

I can have this set to pull the pump in at 82degrees
I can have a second thermostat to give a second temp range and have 2 speed control. I can have the first thermostat (low temp, say above 70 degrees) run through the pump through a PWM (pulse width modulator) http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=350921572780 to drop the pump speed and have a second thermostat module pull in a 5 pin relay at a higher temp (say the full 82degrees) to switch from the modulated supply to a solid 12v for full pump speed :)

just have it wired to coast whenever the ign is on eh andy, then cut in fully via a fan switch :)
WDIDT ? picked up my winter tyres from the kingpin retread factory :) £27 each

You want full flow before the fan kicks in though, the fan is a backup really.
Stab in the dark here and may be unfounded but wont higher flow increase friction therefore temp?
I knows overridden by gping through rad and cooled at a faster rate etc.
You know this stuff I'm just quizzing :)

Ok, so actually you only need the minimum flow required to maintain the correct operating temperature... So you're right frank I could have the fan control kick the pump into full flow when the fan comes in...
And Andy the flow speeds are nowhere near high enough for water friction to generate any heat :)
