This is how I measured it, rim to rim was almost 9" on the rear! You need to measure from bead seat to bead seat not from rim to rim.
Eh? You're so randomWait, you are welding up the resulting hole right?
getting the arches cut out today and going to rivet these beasts on!
Welding what holes?Wait, you are welding up the resulting hole right?
Nah I mean cutting the metal in the arches out dude, going to hammerite wax oil them so they don't rustOh hang on, when you say cut out your arches you're on about cutting out the rivet on ones, not the ones on your car don't you? My bad.
I'd be careful, pretty sure that's all structural, you'll need to plate the resulting hole or your boot floor will be decidedly floppyNah I mean cutting the metal in the arches out dude, going to hammerite wax oil them so they don't rust
Huh? :O I'm just cutting the edge of the arch lips out, this won't be structural will it?I'd be careful, pretty sure that's all structural, you'll need to plate the resulting hole or your boot floor will be decidedly floppy
The lip that normally gets rolled is where 2 panels are spot welded together, cutting it off will seperate the 2 panels :OHuh? :O I'm just cutting the edge of the arch lips out, this won't be structural will it?
Oh b0llocks! So gonna have to re-weld? Any other way? Like bolts? Bolts are easyThe lip that normally gets rolled is where 2 panels are spot welded together, cutting it off will seperate the 2 panels :O
Good job I didn't just go at it Jeremy Clarkson style. Cheers for the heads up!Nah don't think so, you'll need to weld a piece of sheet metal in to bridge the gap between the two panels...
See, relevantEh? You're so random

Well I'm bloody sure I don't.
I'm going to use an electric water pump so I can fit an almera engine, the motor controller costs £130, I'm building my own for a fraction of thatWell I'm bloody sure I don't.
Best of luck from me - I'd just buy the new one....well, I'd have too, wiring a plug is my limit.I'm going to use an electric water pump so I can fit an almera engine, the motor controller costs £130, I'm building my own for a fraction of that
Well I might have done if I already knew how it worked and if I had the money. No guarantee it'll work, might still have to buy it yet!Best of luck from me - I'd just buy the new one....well, I'd have too, wiring a plug is my limit.
