Do you have anything to back this up?
What about: 361 BHP @ 6500 rpm & 309 lbft @ 6000 rpm?
Yeah, The only thing to prove it would be a a radar run...
But I could believe it anyway!

The brown stains in my pants!

I have only ever done this through speed calculation, taking into account the 4.176 final drive, 0.756 5th gear, 24.2" tall tyre and 8200 rpm limit.

Seriously though, think about it.

Although it may not be the most aerodynamically suited car for high speeds, the engine doesn't have a lot of weight to move.

With a power to weight ratio of nearly 540 HP/tonne, you do the math.

To be honest, I'm not bothered if people don't believe me.

I have nothing to gain from lying, so why would I do it?

Cheers

Dave

Dunnoh, not long anyways.

If you have seen the small video clip of the car on the private track (wink wink), you will see how quickly it maxes out 4th gear from a 60 mph roll in 2nd.

Maxxed out in 4th is approx. 145 mph, and from there it doesn't take long.

You can see how quickly it accelrates in 3rd & 4th.

Christ, it terminates at nearly 127 mph with full traction from only half track.

That's enough proof really!

Here are the maximum possible speeds using the 215/60/14 BFG's.

1st - 46 mph
2nd - 77 mph
3rd - 110 mph
4th - 145 mph
5th - 187 mph

I could see that the speedo was maxed out in 4th, but I didnt realise you were going quite that quick, it doesn't take long at all really to get to that speed. :wow:
