Well this will be the new blog for my new car!
Got it today for the princely sum off nothing!
Its good for a free car, has 6 months mot and has plenty of live left.

Bad points too fix.
Visually not wonderful, dent in the rear O/S quarter, the O/S front quarter is rotten through and the bumper has a large piece missing.
Bloody good interior clean, previous owner was a smoker and you can tell.
Seems too take a while for the engine too warm up. Can't decide what this is, gets warm but takes forever.
Heater blowers are asthmatic and the heat control just clicks instead of turning. The recirculate slider is also stuck.

Other than that its fine.

First thing i did was swap the steering wheel and gearstick over, much better feel inside now at least.
Work may not be fast on this.

Rolling project, the Red one will be taken off the road for engine swaps and general fixering and this will go into daily duty.

Seems body wise its OK, need a new driver side front quarter, need too fiberglass the front bumper and sort the door hinges but that's it.
The passenger side is very straight so that's good news. Straighter than my other one!
Bought some new door handles too replace the snapped ones.

Cleaned tonight, few more dings and spots but surprised how solid it is.
Few more issues, the rear wiper doesn't work, so that shall be going or i may replace it with the one from my celebration, the rear center light was cut off instead off unplugged so i will have too sort that aswell.
Happy boy is happy, hub caps shall be coming off and binned asap hopefully find some OEM ones or some cheap alloys.

Done some fiberglassing on the massive hole in the bumper!
Next step, filler, primer, paint.

Well the wing showed up at half 4 was not expecting it, now fitted so pictures galore.

I know no one is really that interested but this is for my portfolio more than anything.
Door handles changed, harder than i was expecting but not much too it.

They're not adjustable,bit of wood underneath and jack up with trolley jack checking as you go..I hate it when people lean on open doors...

good find with that £31 wing!
i would colour code the bumpstrips etc. for more re-sale value if that's your plan.
