My other half is after a tom tom, but i am not sure which on e of these is best the tom tom one or the tom tom go. Both seem fine for what she wants it for but just wondered as i can't see any obvious difference.

i am joined with www.pocketgpsworld.com and its better than the tom tom speedcamera database as there are more users with them than tom tom (im on about speed cameras for your tom tom)anyway to your question tom tom go are by far much better with all the extra options that you will find very usefull hey i still got my 300!!!!!lol works amazingly advice tho download tom tom home and get the latest map update !

well as the lowest priced, most upto date largest retailer of satelite navigation units in the uk and as a satelite navigation expert and ripspeed specialist i can safely say i would go for the Tom tom 720 or 920T.
the tom tom go range is the latest range from tomotm.
the 520 720 and now the 920T have been greatly updated with the latest in voice recognition technology, voice recording facility (if you happen to get bored of listening to ossy osbourn all the time) thousands of points of interest, their phone numbers and e-mail addresses, the ability to phone using bluetooth, the go reads a txt message to you, recieves calls, plays Mp3 files, Shows a picture slideshow, connects your i-pod to the FM radio in your car, Shows traffic conditions as they happen, automaticaly re-routes itself if you take a wrong turn, a Help me guide that holds valuable informations like : where am i?, what to do in a accident, how to change a tyre or top up your oil, what times the pubs close in australia and how much they would charge for a pint. plus with the new Mapshare (R) technology via bluetooth, you can be up to date with maps whilst driving to the airport....
theres alot more, and theres stuff i dont even know about yet..
lets just say they are unique in the field of sat nav..... you cannot compare them to any other navigation unit. theres no competition at all !!!!!!!

TomTom ONE 3rd Edition come best in what car test so i would go
