To Paddymarsden....or anyone with tips

Im after spraying parts of the interior black like you have done with yours in blue....after you sanded and sprayed...what did you do to the panels to protect the paint?

any one else with tips let me know.

Thats a lot of coats :) i just used two and told every passenger to mind their flailing limbs on the paintwork!
 
Hellooooo, that was a while back when i had my lil blue star !

yea, sand down with 120 - 80 grade paper and then clean with soap and water, thin coat of primer if needed then two or three coats of spray paint. Then clear laquer.

great thanks for that, im guna pick up some spares just so i dont mess up on my only sets.

If i can be bothered ill set up a blog so its possible to see my progress over the next few months.
 
i just sprayed my interior black with flexible vynal black paint. took about 20 mins and i used 1 can. never laquered it. that was 2 years ago now.



and i bet noone at santa pod even noticed my entire dash was black...
