Rear Boots Handel broken

Hello everyone!

So my boot handel was a little loose since I bought it 2 years ago.

But last week it feel more loose than usual so I pop it out and discovered that some of the bolt has broken off and seeing the black epoxy I think it has been fixed before.

Do anyone know how to fix this since I don't know what is the best way to do it?

Hmm would it be possible to drill the flat plastic and put the bolt through from the back and fix it in place so you can put the nut on and tighten?
