Any news on the dizzy I had 4 to play with and ended with no result
Couldn't agree more there my friend. Carbs all the way.Jus seems simple enough, plug n play. Soldering is not my thing.....neither are computers......hence the carb route
3d mappable electronic ognition modules need a feed from a TPS, otherwise you need to keep the vac diaphragm etc for advance and retardThink I'm gonna have to follow suit. Cant find the information I need. And its an expensive guess
That lumenition one only needs the sensor plugged in and positive and earth. It may not even be mappable3d mappable electronic ognition modules need a feed from a TPS, otherwise you need to keep the vac diaphragm etc for advance and retard
It's not, it all bolts to the plate thats moved by the vac diaphragm, gotta change springs and weights to alter the advance curveThat lumenition one only needs the sensor plugged in and positive and earth. It may not even be mappable
More I think about the worse it gets. Literally replaces the points etc....that's it. Still a standard dizzy otherwise...It's not, it all bolts to the plate thats moved by the vac diaphragm, gotta change springs and weights to alter the advance curve
So you'll need a tps. If you had a weber you can get aftermarket bolt on tps. Otherwise you might have to get a bit creative, maybe remove the butterfly from the carb and bolt the throttle body with tps from another car in front?More I think about the worse it gets. Aldon it is
Would be easier to use manifold pressure? So you'll need a tps. If you had a weber you can get aftermarket bolt on tps. Otherwise you might have to get a bit creative, maybe remove the butterfly from the carb and bolt the throttle body with tps from another car in front?
Like this
the ecu runs a load x rpm table for the sparkmap i believeI dunno, I was under the impression you needed manifold pressure, throttle position and engine rpm
Soo manifold pressure x rpm from the coil?the ecu runs a load x rpm table for the sparkmap i believe
engine load i think andy (reflecting the torque curve at a guess) computed from the tps and maf values ?Soo manifold pressure x rpm from the coil?
And if I have neither of those in terms of an aldon amethyst ems?engine load i think andy (reflecting the torque curve at a guess) computed from the tps and maf values ?
Ahhh ok, so where does the return hose go from my heater?
I'm loving itAy? You've lost me lol
