Please help: What type of oil?

Hello every one. I have a GX 1.3 nissan micra with 124k millage. I have serviced the car over a year ago and a friend told me that it needs service every 6 months or 6k miles. Now I need to service it but don't know what type of oil to use and any extra stuff.

I use Magnatec 10W-40

yeah we have used the magnatec in our micra and in my car i use shell helix ultra but what i will say is buy the best you can afford the more you spend then better protection it will give your engine and use a semi synthetic or a full synthetic if you can
