1)
In 1911 the company Kaishinsha Car Works was created in Japan. At this time there were hardly more to than 100 Passenger vehicles and trucks.

One year later in 1912, the first half of the name "Datsun" was born.

The three men Den, Aoyama and Takeuchi produced the first prototype of a light passenger vehicle and called him after the initials of their surnames "DAT".

"DAT" not only compressed the initials of the firm founders, it also means in the Japanese word "rabbit". The agile and speedy animal has been used during the first production years as radiator figure.
2)
In spring of 1913 the second DAT was finished.
Most of the about 300 vehicles in Japan are from the USA at that time.
In 1915 the production of the DAT31 has started.
1916 DAT 41 has followed with four cylinders, 2.3 litres capacity and 20 HP.
The maximum speed amounted to 40 km/h
3)
Then years later the “DAT Automobile Manufacturing Company has fused with the Jitsuyo Jidosha Seizo company.
The consequence was that DAT specialized their production of trucks.

In 1931 DAT were integrated in the Tobata Imono company.
In the same year, ahe prototype of a new passenger vehicle is called Datson 91 - the "son of the DAT".

4)
The name changed one year later in “Datsun”
The English word “sun” alludes of the sun as an old Japanese symbol.
The Land of the rising sun.

In the end of 1933 a re-organization of the “Tobata Imono Group” taked place.

For the Datsun passenger vehicle Jidosha Seizo company where created, which changes into Nihon Sangyo Company in December.
5)
In 1934 The “Jidosha Seizo company Ltd.”was new created as Nissan engine company Ltd..
In 1935 the production place in Yokohama for 5.000 cars per year becamed finished. The first assembly line was seventy meters long.

Ein Univerersitaetsstudent kannt nicht 'English' und 'grammar' buchstabieren? Genau wie meisten der Leute aufs Internet. Ja, ja, my German is crap :wasntme: I only got an E. These are actually fairly good but the wording is a bit clumsy in places (aber noch besser als ich kann auf Deutsch)

My version-
1)
In 1911 the Kaishinsha Car Works company was formed in Japan. At this time barely more than 100 Passenger vehicles and trucks were on Japan's roads.

One year later in 1912, the first half of the name 'Datsun' was born.

Three men- Den, Aoyama and Takeuchi produced the first prototype of a light passenger vehicle and named it after the initials of their surnames 'DAT'.

DAT not only comprised the initials of the firm's founders, it's also the japanese word for 'rabbit'. The agile and speedy animal was used during the first production years as radiator emblem.

2)
In spring of 1913 the second DAT was finished.
Most of the about 300 vehicles in Japan are from the USA at that time.
In 1915 the production of the DAT31 has started.
1916 DAT 41 has followed with four cylinders, 2.3 litres capacity and 20 HP.

Comes out as-
2)
In the spring of 1913 the second DAT was finished and at that time most of the roughly 300 vehicles in Japan were from the USA.
In 1915 production of the DAT 31 began and was followed in 1916 by the DAT 41. It had a four cylinder, 2.3 litre engine developing 20 HP, giving it a top speed of 40 km/h

*twiddles thumbs*
3)
Some years later the DAT Automobile Manufacturing Company merged with the Jitsuyo Jidosha Seizo company; following this DAT specialised in the production of trucks.

In 1931 DAT merged with the Tobata Imono company, in the same year the prototype of a new passenger vehicle was produced and named the Datson 91 - the "son of the DAT".
Englisch- 'specialised' Amerikanisch- 'specialized'

*whistles*
4)
A year later the name was changed to 'Datsun', the english word 'sun' alluding to the sun as an old Japanese symbol- The Land of the Rising Sun.

Towards the end of 1933 a re-organization of the Tobata Imono Group took place; the Jidosha Seizo company was formed to manufacture the Datsun passenger car, this became the Nihon Sangyo Company in December.

5)
In 1934 The “Jidosha Seizo company Ltd.”was new created as Nissan engine company Ltd..
In 1935 the production place in Yokohama for 5.000 cars per year becamed finished. The first assembly line was seventy meters long.
One last time...
5)
In 1934 the Jidosha Seizo Company Ltd. was reformed as the Nissan Engine Company Ltd.
In 1935 a plant in Yokohama built for the annual production of 5000 cars was completed. The first assembly line was seventy meters long.

I should also warn u that I have no sense of grammar... in any language :upside:

One year later the first 6,163 Datsun vehicles where produced there.

After end of war in 1945 Americans took over the administration of the Nissan company and promoted the truck production in Yokohama.

Only two years later the automobile production was started again.

1953 extended Nissan their production and manufactured rockets for the Japanese space program.

Two years later the company was transferred again into Japanese hands.

1958 succeeded the jump over the large pond and the automobiles of Nissan excited a large attention.

One year later, the first abroad Nissan assembly plant in Taiwan took up its enterprise.
After that Nissan exported the first vehicles to Europe in 1962.

1966 Fused Nissan again. At this time with the Japanese passenger car manufacturer "Prince of engine company". Nissan became thereby the largest Japanese automobile company.

Last Part ;) than it will be done ;)

6)
Till 1969 5 Million cars where produced by Nissan/Datsun. One Million of that cars were exported to foreign countries at the same time.

In the same year the first sports car of Z row was built. In the 20 years from 1969 to 1989 Z and ZX became the most-built sports car of the world.

One year later a new milestone of the Nissan history took place. The first Japanese satellite was shot with a Nissan rocket in the universe.

1972 exported Nissan the first cars to Germany

1973 were Nissan the secondly largest car manufacturers of the world and became 2 years later the largest car exporter.

After further successful years Nissan decided to give the name Datsun up and to sell all products under the name Nissan.

Until 1991 Nissan continued to found its manufacturing plants abroad and created addresses in England and America.

With the mark Infiniti enters Nissan 1984 into the upper class.
Starting from 2007 it will give Infiniti also in Germany. These cars will make Mercedes and BMW a large competition.

2004 signed Nissan as well as Renault an agreement over a global alliance.
Since this time Nissan goes downhill. The quality of the products becomes worser and the Designs of the cars uglier.

So this the last part ;) Can you check it pleas till this evening ;D it must be finshed then. Its only a small part about the Skyline and the Z.

The most successful Nissan model was Z. The 240 z was the first model of the Z series. It was introduced in 1968 on the Tokyo Motor show. Responsible for the Design, was a German, Albrecht Graf Goertz.
The car was intended first only for the American market and as sold as Fairlady.
The 240z came to Germany in 1972. As engine, a 2.4 litre, 140 HP engine was blocked, which accelerated the car in 10 seconds from 0 to 100. This was a very good time, for this time.
1972 the 280ZX was published. The development cost over 15 million dollar and took 4 years. Although the 240z and the 280zx see themselves very similar, there is totally different cars. The strongest engine had 200 HP. World-wide 105,045 were sold.
The successor, the 300zx was published 1983 and had one biturbo 283PS engine. In Germany 3700 pieces were sold.
The newest Z is the 350z with a 280 PS 2.8 litre engine.
The strongest and most famous Nissan is the Nissan skyline GTR. Many know it from the film to fast to furious. This all wheel car brings it on 280 HP. In Japan exists models up to 1280 HP .
