My New Motor

Hey guys. New to the club and forum.

Passed my driving test on my 18th birthday, and picked up this little beauty for my 2nd first car (first one being a pug 106 ). Its a Micra Ally 1.0 1998 s reg, 41000 on the clock got it for 750 squid off some lass on ebay. She was some builder chick so the car had alot of saw dust and sand, so first thing to do was a clean.

To do list:

1. Become MSC member
2. Get car insured
3. Change N/S wing mirror as some chav broke it, colour code it too
4. colour code bump strips
5. Clear side repeaters
6. Window tints maybe
7. install momo gear knob + pedals
8. change that crappy head unit. xplod= chav
9. Install a cig lighter as in the last pic, the car didnt have one installed.
10. install a sub and front speakers
11. K&N Induction Kit
12. Black Alloys...
13. paint rocker gasket cover
14. strut brace maybe??
15. get a new battery as the current one looks like some generic trash, and probably wont be able to handle an amp

Thats the stuff off the top of my head at the moment. Ive seen some really good cars on here, I probably wont be aiming for that kind of look,as IMO the cash could be invested in other places and I dont have the contacts to get those jobs done. My skill I would say is better than your average newbie as I done a bit of work on the 106, but nothing too great i would say. I start Uni in september and hope to use a bit of the cash on doing something to spice up the micra, as the rest will be spent on living the broke life as a student...

that my friend is an argos head unit It would have been good but has no RCA outputs on the back unfortunately so cant wire up an amp/sub using it.

Ohh and I just realised that my gear stick makes a sort of a rattling sound when you move it about, push it to the left and it doesnt spring back to the center like it should. I read that maybe its some spring that holds the gear stick thats probably gone. Will have a look at that.
