I want this to happen so I'm sticking a rough date out there so people can plan and prepare if needed

Thinking late april/early may.
Avoiding japfest and JAE. Also any other car show it conflicts with. Any help here appreciated

The tracks I've seen to be quite popular or mentioned are
Oulton Park, Donington Park, Cadwell Park & Blyton Park

My vote is Blyton. Cheap, ok circuit and good run offs. Second vote is Donington for the same reasons except more expensive

Simply because my insurance is up then and I can head to yours for engine swaps ect and declare it all, then head to track :L

Blyton is fairly central as well, cheap but I'm afraid im too busy to be able to organise it at the moment. So if @h701micra andy wants some contact details i can hand them over

I would still be up for it if I can do the date. You're going to need a few more names to make it happen though, do you think? I mean a whole day's track hire between half a dozen people isn't going to be cheap.

I'm coming in late to this so haven't read it all, but track action online do full days at Oulton for 140, only twice a year a beginning and end of season, open pit lane and discounts for groups and one from group goes free via name out of hat, I went last Friday again and Micra's are well suited to track as straights aren't too long, mine held up well against the bigger boys! I'd be up for the March sesh!

The plan is to extend it slightly to make it more of a weekender

Consisting of cars, airsoft, pub & a trackday. Bit like JAE but smaller and warmer

Its looking so far like
Turn up, talk cars, prepare for track day, go airsoft, go pub after (maybe just the one), fry up breakfast, track day, photo whoring and pub to finish

Any takers? Of course you can still just do the trackday

I know there's a couple that fancy the idea

Cadwell is more money and doesn't really allow testing like Blyton does

Easy... just swap the box nothing special

Ah well Blyton is quite open and simple. A good place to go out and have a go with nothing to hit if you come off
