Mildred the Micra

passenger door switch?
parcel shelf?
passenger srs belt tensioner or airbag?

does the wire lead over the the driver-side of the loom with the fuel loom, or does it led over to the passenger side of the loom?

Heyaa everyone.... Been racking my brains and still havnt gotten much further.... Underneath my rear seats is a connector block... Mystery is... What on earth for? Does anyone know?
I have a similar connector under my passenger seat in the k12, so does my mum.
We figured it was part of the locking mechanism available on some models (our under seat storage is not lockable, but it was an option)

Or possibly for the heated seats, another option I don't have ^_^

...so I have no idea LOL

Oooo gosh if only, she isn't that fancy! :L

It's really stumped me :L x

Passenger door switch? As in electric windows? As there tucked up in behind the gromets for the front doors.

Parcel shelf is connected through the connection block in the boot
Surely can't be pre tensinor? That wouldn't be an electrical connection surely?
I don't have airbags atall x

Well on a plus... Tom fixed my boot lock... Brute force and ignorance conquers all! Surprised the key didn't snap :O
And shes hit over 100,000

And then some lovely person hit my car with a shopping trolley :-( x

noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo....

my nice daily hit 60 thou.. woo

Not much damage... cracked my front bumper, dented and taken some paint from the boner more annoying than anything.

Know how that one feels bud :/ just glad your okay..... was the damage that excessive? X

Yeah I had that dilema with mine :( 400 seems alot but can you get a car of the same quality for that ammount :/ between every one here im sure theres random spares lying around x

of the same quality, i doubt it, i dont think you have met the daily. 400 quid is only for a bumper and front wing with a proper paint job for both. replaced with genuine new panels. it soon adds up. The micra daily was a 2k+ a year ago and is the only reason why I am so pissed... people just think fek it, its a micra, nearly had a coach wipe me out today too... getting sick of this now. Quite literally, no one, i mean no one, gets in my way with the turbo.. they keep distance. this one however gets bullied.

Mine is a 1.3 :) I have a spare povo spec bumper :/ what about scrap yards might be able to get one in decent condition? X

No ive not only seen pictures :( micras seem to be getting rather expensive :O
I wouldn't mess with the turbo :L the roads just seem to be populated by morons at the minute! X

oh I thought the red ones were only ever 1L only ones I have ever seen.
Thank you anyway, but the car will get a proper job done, new panels and proper paint jobs, scrap yard stuff will make the car look ****e me thinks

I thought that too :) shes just lucky :p good shout! If a jobs worth doing and all that :p id fix it though deffinately to nice to give up :( x

not really you can still get some nice motors for a few quid. Good money got a superb condition car with all the bells and whistles and had half the milage on it, stored in the garage its whole life, all service history with nissan and one owner who never took the thing out. plus 400 quid dont get you a solid car unless u are lucky.

I once bought a micra for 200 quid which only had 16,000 miles on it, a k11 full spec 1993 ncvt. like the mercedes of the micra world at the time. was supperrr lucky... was going to give it to the girlfriend... she was to good for it unfortunately

that's under the rear left seat yea? can you see where it leads to? not seen that type of plug from that region before.

passenger door switch as in the switch at bottom of b-pillar for switching the interior light. but I think that uses a small plug rather than a large loom connector there so prob not that.

parcel shelf, yea that's usually from the drivers side loom that goes all the way back, up the c-pillar hole and pops out the boot light area. same type of plug but speaker plug has 3-4 pins.

some pre-tensioners are inertia triggered like on mine, or electrically triggered along with the drivers airbag (facelifts? dunno) some cars have seat airbags but prob not a k11.

Attach a switch to it, switch it on and see what happens...it's either going to be missile launcher, ejector seat or transform into robot...according to the Haynes book....

I've never seen a Micra with speakers mounted under the rear windows.

Could it have been installed by a previous owner for some ICE or something? If it gets a constant signal when the ACC is on, then that might be the case.

After a quick look in my lunch break the block goes under the carpet down the passenger side through the white trunchen but not sure after that...
Can't say ive seen a micra with speakers under the rear windows.... Apart from Andy's :p

Ermm rear cigarette lighter Hmmm possibly not a clue where it'd be mounted though.... X

I suspect it's a reserved plug for the rear left central locking actuator on a 5dr.
The cable should route up the b-pillar, join to a rear left central locking door loom through the grommet and into the central lock actuator. but since 3dr/5dr share the same loom, it's a left over.

haynes says for central locking with deadlocking, it's a orange/blue & brown/white wires.
on central locking without deadlocking, it's a light green & light green/black wire.

Hmmm thats an awesome idea :) when I get a chance I shall investigate this more hmmmm..... central locking would be lovely :) Tom has central locking.... When he's not looking I may have to check if he has the plug and if it's connected :) x

he's a 3dr too so prob the same reserved plug hidden away.

perhaps you could just grab a spare door lock actuators & rods, central lock control box, maybe the door loom plugs already there and if ur lucky it could be a simple plug n play bish bash bosh upgrade

I'll take a peak :) I have looked I don't have any extra loom in my doors my electric windows had to be wired in completely seperate. Iirc I may actually have just one random connector block in the gromets in the door but only on one side and it was a small one but I think that may have also been on the passenger side but iirc there was no power to it x

Finally..... After starting this job months ago... Life kinda over took and I've only been able to do the odd 20 minutes here and there but if a jobs worth doing do it properly.... I did however within half an hour of starting remember why I hate sewing so much... But here we go...
The pattern of my back seats originally..
