Hello to everybody!

First of all a bit of information on the car. It was given to me last June because my mum bought a focus and before that it was a rental car. So far I havent seen any signs of rental abuse.

List of things done:
- Modified front grill
- Open front bumper
- blacked out headlights
- debadged boot
- diy angel/demon eyes
- tyre letters painted (experimental )
- Some black paint here and there

I have a load of plans but no money really to do anything at the moment :/

Well im waiting to get a second hand mig welder to put together a custom exhaust and custom manifold because I want to keep the aircon, 1.3 cams, lowering springs which are going really cheap on fkautomotive at the moment and fix all the dents. Also some alloys. The interior I want to do aswell change doorcard material and seats because at the moment everthing insides a horrible green color. Tmorrow ill be painting the door handles black and finishing the center console cos it kept wrinkling

Angel eyes: Although I used plastic coat hangers lol all that i could find here. To glue the leds in I used epoxy resin and I had the headlight taken apart so I could shape the plastic to it. Also try and use the highest power leds u can get, because my one are not visible with lights on

What i want to do is connect them up to the locking lights so when I lock the car the flash, i need to put a diode and bring another cable but i dont know where to connect to for the locking lights. Can anyone give me a hand??

Angel eyes and that you for the link, ive seen a similar video but didnt cut slots into the tube.

And i'm not good at wiring pal sorry but if i get a pal who is to connect it then i will make a page and put it on my blog

The more slots you cut into the tube the better, you can see in my pics that the center isnt as bright :/ cos the slots were to separated. Next time i take them apart il fix it. Itll be great to see another micra with them

Thanks Twas a diy job , I think it was part of a peugeo bumper grill or seat ibiza. Cut into 2 pieces and plastic welded it on with old soldering iron diy ftw lol

Well its about time for an update. Just passed the Itv (spanish mot) no problems. I swapped the front lights for the ones off my brothers first facelift direct fit no splicing needed. While the projectors were off i painted them matte black. Also painted the grills orange and day after matte black cos orange was horrible haha and test fit my alloys. Gonna need arches widened i think. Missing some pics ill get them later.

Also the center bore on the alloys is too small. Any diy fix for that? Also color suggestions for the alloys are welcome.

You can either fit spacers and longer bolts (it'll make them stick out a wee bit more but this is what I would do)....or have the centres widened....

But the spacers will mean the hub isnt touching and that will make them wobble wont it?? Can i widen the center or a machinist?

Nah...the bolts do most of the holding, the hub is just to centre it....If you're going to get them widened, best to get a pro to do it....so you don't damage them...

Just mark on your wheels the new centre bore and use a drill bit to file/scrape it out wider, think the bits called a flap wheel?

Depends how much wider you need to go though, could weaken the wheel

First time reading this, paint looks lovely, I had no idea it used to be silver, I thought this was another car!

Thanks! The black paintjob was pretty ok until the sun made it wrinkle, it was on hammerite paint so didnt stand up to the heat. This time, its all proper car paint, epoxy primer etc, so itll last. Im thinking maybe infinitys blue meanie as a title?

Stock ones definitely didnt have rear bars, but my other red micra has a swaybar on front so dont know. Maybe mine was removed by previous owner??

looks like it's common that weak versions of some cars didn't had them.
non-turbo Imprezas (GL,RX) have them only at front. It's not a racing thing, but car is also easier to control in extreme cases, for example after making a coutersteer. Car tends to move the mass at other side after first counter, without swaybars it tilts like tanker ship and you hit the curb...

The rear one saved my Impreza at least two times...
