I need a K11 Haynes, where to go?

I've tried the bay and amazon, but both are quite expensive, on the old pug 309 I used to own, I got a haynes for 1p plus postage!

Are there any online resources that have the same info as contained in the Haynes manuals such as torque settings and whatnot?

I would have said Amazon was your best bet but if its just torque settings and things like that your after then one of the members might be kind enough to scan a page or two for you.

If you want a hard back copy I have one i'm looking to get rid of! Packed it up at the min though as im moving house this week so can't send for a couple of weeks!

Jay, K11 one I'm guessing?

I hate the way K10 ones are dirt cheap on the bay, and K12 ones only a,ittle bit moire expensive, but K11 ones are proper expensive!!

popular demand... like carbon fibre... its basically fibreglass!!!

Torque settings are the same in any language, just type the neame of the thing you need to torque into google translater and look for it in the foregin copy.

wow this pdf version has tons more info than the normal haynes from halfords, even has details of the gearbox assembly etc. wish it was in english

i have found at least 3 different versions and all polish must be copies i will continue to look when i have spare time :)

i've just won a K11 haynes on ebay for just over a fiver which was cheap for these it seems-its only the older one covering 93-99 cars rather than the more recent one that goes up to the final 2002 models, but i'm thinking the majority of whats important will be the same...needed one really to look at whats missing on my door locking mechs on my '93 so i can sort that out..
as you say most are silly money on ebay, but still cheaper than a new one in the shops, which typically cost about 19.99 in high street shops.
i go to a lot of boot sales so they are a good source for them for cheap money, not seen any yet though this season.
another place to look out for them is charity shops.i've picked up cheap manuals for other cars in them in the past.

yes mate so it seems, looking at the prices of 'em in general on ebay!! yeah i'll keep me eyes out at this seasons' carboots for any,if i find any i'll post up on here for sale cheap...i could do with a stock of manuals again for other cars too as i'm always buying various small runabouts.
when i was into the classic fords i always managed to get plenty of manuals for older cars at the boot sales, such as capris, cortinas, and mk1+2 escorts etc...and you always see ones too for stuff like metros, datsun cherrys, allegros, cavaliers and the like, all stuff nobody really wants!!

Lol something like that anyways I'll have a search again when I'm free next week.... Oh the elusive free manual.....

People from the east used to have second hand imported cars because 1: it was cheaper, 2: they had no choice, there were no official distributors until the early 90.
They have plenty of accessory repair shop on their roads, especially in country lands.
They can repair any old car for cheap, whereas in western europe for the price garages asking (to do ####ty job) people prefer to sell their old cars. I think it's why most of the manual are in polish / russian, moreover they are ace in illegal files sharing :)
Cheers
Seb
