definitive answer

I've been looking into doing a engine conversion using the figaro ma10t and wanted to know would i need the wiring loom also is it carbed like the standard ma10 or is it injected.

any information would be great

i know it has talked about before but i dont know if its been done

Yeah they have Efi.
I "thought" that the issue with this was not so much getting it running, but the K10 gearbox being made of metal not dissimilar to toffee. Which is why the turbo engine in the figs only got an auto box and using the auto gives you performance only negligably greater than an Ma12 because of the mechanical losses and extra weight.

Though of course what the factory consider reliable, and what you could conseivably do with an actual car are of course very different. Good luck with it, hope it works out!

cheers mark

big IF I do it I think I'd go down the route of using the k11 box, but the problem isn't getting engine, ecu ect it's finding a wiring loom unless I can use the original k10 one but I know that's not likely, also would it be worth using a re profiled 1.2 cam instead of the standard one?
