changing the colour of my car...DVLA

if i was to re-spray my car a different colour. how would i tell the dvla to inform them of the colour change? mine is red and i wish to spray it black?

write black in the appropriate section on the v5 and send it to them.

Don't think so, I mean you don't have to pay when you change ownership so should be exactly the same

Mine was back with me in a week when I done the K11 orange. Must just be you NeX, maybe the royal mail couldn't find Box when the DVLA posted your log book back

Don't suppose someone can explain why they don't charge for changing the colour but charge £25 for a replacement Certificate when lost? :doh:
