Brighton Marina - 26th April 2008

Glad you're looking forward to it Bolton!

We usually have a good laugh at these events. Brighton was my first meet 2 years ago and It's a nice venue to meet up at.
 
gd gd i have organised some small meets in the not so distant past in mk and they where gd just think wat to do next in mk instead of car park talk
 
Could go skiiing in the dome, try that virtual free fall thing. There's plenty to do in Milton Keynes fella, I will join ya one time as I have some family in that area. Just need to get the car driving fine.

It's a ripoff....that skydiving simulator (a big fan basically) is a silly price.....£40 for 2 minutes of flight time!

I could have a nice meal out for that, with bowling and a film after!
 
this looks like its gonna be the biggest brighton meet ever if everyone comes :D

so who wants to sort out convoys? i will be comming from the bristol/bath area, probably the furthest away >>

i assume ModdedMicra will be with me ;) anyone else?

lol mate i have been there twice and taken the wrong road both times lol. but who knows maybe this time ;)

give me a call or knock on my house if you like. tho having said that there may be a chance that i will already be down there on friday... we will have to see.
 
I can meet people at Pease Pottage services on the M23 (maybe even have some scrapyard fun too ;) ) but will be starting from North of the M25 and going anti-clockwise.

Is there anything planned, other than stand and look at Micras?

Bowling was suggested earlier in the thread. It's a Brighton tradition lol.
 
Is Everyone up for bowling??

I need to book the lanes and if everyone is up for it it's going to be 3 lanes. Or if anyone brings a partner, friend, hitchhiker. I Need to know rough numbers.

bowling isn't a decission for brighton its just whats done. and i will be bringing lady friend. she cant bowl so she will have to have a go ;)
 
bowling is fine with me and can i bring a mate as could do with someone in the car for the travling and i have never been to a msc meet but i have to ask what is the avarge amount of money i would need to bring for all the stuff planned (bowling so far) lol

lol they should be forced to bowl! lol its what brighton is all about! tho if people don't want to bowl thats fine >> no one listens to me anyway... cos if they did and i had my way i would own all the micras in the world and you would just be renting them!! muhahaha
 
£20 should be fine mate, enough for bowling, food, drink. And I believe the parking is free.

Can we start a list for bowling and also if you are bringing someone?

no point me convoying i live 20 mins away unless anyone else is heading via the a259?

my lil micra with its 4 gears no longer likes going on the dual carriage way.

ollie-- as said everyone would need life insurance if i was to do bowling, plus i dont think my arm will be fully recovered, is it ok if i jus watch.


and as said before im happy to provide entertainment getting out the car park
 
Tacha, You are fine to watch, if your arm isn't up to it. Wouldn't want you to strain yourself, not when you've got an Escort Cab to get workin ;)

Oh, I reckon that I'd have a whale of a time in one, but I lug a fair amount of stuff (and people!) areound so just not practical for me, also they're getting a bit of a ricer image as well, but I'm more substance over style anyway.
The volvo has only been not up to the job once and that is when I was trying to take a set of patio doors down the tip and the seats are like a big comfy armchair ;)
