Here's one of my girls, Tidge, enjoying her evening meal. She's a total cutie, you can sit her on your knee and she'll watch telly with you .

I sort of posted this thread to spread the word. The bite of the most aggressive, venomous tarantula (appropriately called the 'Orange Bitey Thing') will do no worse than give you a horrible burning sensation and numbness for a few days. Tarantulas aren't deadly or evil at all, they're just small creatures doing what they gotta do to stay healthy :). Natural prey is mainly insects, small lizards and maybe the odd mouse occasionally. They make great pets. They don't smell at all and mostly don't do anything at all except sit stationary in one place until something edible walks past. Then it's 'Nom, nom, nom'.

It's a type of vegetarian cockroach called a Dubia roach :grinning:. They eat bananas as far as I can work it out...

It looked like a locust , no spiders here just a dog and two rats

Oh and she does look quite cute (not a spider fan)
