    it sounds to me like you have a dodgy connection from when the ignition switch or ecu was replaced george, i would try wiggle-ing them while the engine is running

    george here,..........the clicking and shuddering,,,,,
    i have replaced the black relay beside the engine, but have a prob finding the ecu relay and the fuel pump relay.....darn haynes is just about useless
    can you think of a way i could narrow down the possible causes of the prob?
    marked improvement with the black relay replaced, but still the prob persists....thanks for the reply!

    Frankbob, a quick one for ya! I am about 99.9% certain that I want the steelies with the dish on my car once the arches fitted, but was wondering if you was up for doing it? obviously i would be willing to pay so could you let me know a price / if your interested!

    Ello Frank, still no word back from kamisama about the springs yet so still not sure when im gonna be able to come get them done :(

    Also i have a 97' 1.3 engine from my SR. would it be a straight swap into my 9'4 1.0 dot? both are manual

    Frank! sorry to be a pain as im guessing you have a lot of messages, requests etc.... but basically im going to buy them matiz springs and have no idea on how to change them over onto my other struts. Therefore, how would I go about doing it as i cant afford to hit the garage as im a student = being poor lol. Im still in Coventry so would it be possible to come over to Brum sometime, maybe? I was also wondering how much you charge for the "frank"speed manifold? scribble back when you can, thanks

    hello buddy, managed to aquire a cg13 today from a friend of a friend with lowish mileage. Unfortunately it was missing a throttle body and most of its ancilleries. Just got to get a 1.6 throttle body now and learn how to strip and build the thing lol.
    Loving the matiz shocks, how does it ride now mate?

    i could,nt say for sure craig, mine were off a 89ish car iirc, and ones from a scrappy would be cheaper eh (i had 3 sets @ £10 a pair) and they flick out with a crowbar if the car is off the ground btw

    Thanks Frank, really appreciate your help! Ive also switched my SR cluster into my dot and everything works great apart from the tachometer. The wiring sits in perfect so im unsure as to why its doesnt work? any ideas? thanks for all your help

    Hi Frank, i dont know if you could help me, could you give me a list of parts that i would need to do an engine swap from a 1.0 to the 1.3? My car is a m reg micra k11. if you could send me a pvt message that would be much appreciated.

    hi nikki, fine ta, banding is a high precision process really, a lot more involved than the offsetting that i did on carol.s wheels, and i doubt you will beat £200 tbh :)

    Hey Frank, hows things! Are you at all able to do banded steels for me at a decent price? There's apparently a bloke who does it on RR for £200, but I'd preferably keep it closer to home! :p

    Franky boy!!! ive fixed it, i cleaned the distributor and got some HT leads from a scrappy. Running as sweet as a peach.. thanks for your help mate

    thanks for the speed reply, much appreciated. I cant really tell if its misfiring because I have a 4" backbox and I cant distinguish whether its a gurgle (if thats the word) or misfire. the engine is idling fine. If its an injector problem then I should replace the HT leads?

    hi craig, if it was holding back and not missfiring, then i would suspect a throttlebody or injector problem personally, whereas a dizzy fault usually gives a distinct missfire

    Hey Frank, my name is Craig (Scouse boy) and I was wondering if you could give me some advice.

    Firstly I own a 1.0 Shape (46k on the clock) and today when driving and putting my foot down, the power seemed a bit late in response although it gradually got to the speed I wanted. Now I think it may be a Distributor fault, Ht leads need replacing and possibly resoldering of the T/B but wanted to know if there was anything else to check.

    I have an induction kit on it, which has never been a problem.

    My micra S has just failed m.o.t.....can I get it repaired at reasonable cost or should I buy another ? Am not computer savvy or a mechanic but miss my little car.
