As are all but the trendsettingest dubbers and wider euro scenesters, not to mention the retro and new skoolers.
Keep an eye on the bay, both uk and germany (search for alufelgen, by sizes eg 7x13 or makes ATS Ronal Bobet etc) Club Polo or a Lupo club or any where that caters for water cooled dubbers and has for sale sections. Its worth looking at the retro-rides for sale section and of course wheel-whores too.
Loads of stuff has 4x100 (too much to cover here but theres some japanese, BMW OPEL and VW, I'm sure there's a list on here, the search function and google are your friends) its the 59.1 center bore you have to watch because it is larger than Opel and VW use but I'm pretty sure renault fit. 4x100 is close to 4x4" (4x101.6) I know people who have used 4x4" wheels without problems on 4x100 but you could well be bending the studs (thats not good) but if yer center location is good wobble nuts will take up the difference. 4x4" is Mini amongst other things so check out mini ebay listings as well.
Luck is the main thing that will get you the wheels you want cheap. Be prepared to buy a ####ty looking set of wheels and put hours of work in cleaning up the curbing and polishing up the rims.
Lol, no just a die hard (old) car fan. Cheers for the compliment but its very far from true, you could put what I know about 17"s, big money BBS and the ripspeed counter on the back of a postage stamp.

Ha classics for the win! I dont blame you! I almost bought an old Datsun of of the retro-rides website not long ago, just could'nt steer myself away from the micra world
I'd fit 4x4" with wobble bolts if I had good center location. As yet I haven't ever needed to. Search as many forums as you can, it has been done before.
You'll find responses ranging from "you and all your family will instantly die" to "yeah I've been running on 4x4" with regular bolts for 3 years with no problems" much like the cut springs debate, do some research and make up yer mind. You'll even find folk running with 4x98 on 4x100 and vice versa.
never ever use wobble bolts. that is asking for trouble. if the centre bore is not exactly the same the wheel will be uncentral and, to put it politlty, completly F*** you up. if you use em you are a fool. its not hard to find some wheels 4x100
I agree about the centre bore. My 17's were no where near fitted to the centre hub because the wheel's centre diameter was 10mm wider. This meant major wobble and extreme pulling to the left!
